I write about the Los Angeles Rams and run a Rams blog for a living, so covering this season’s college football season as it relates to the 2022 NFL Draft—gets harder by the transaction. From putting players on IR to acquiring Von Miller and Odell Beckham, Jr., the Rams are doing their part in keeping me from keeping pace with hundreds of NFL Draft prospects.
To that end, it is interesting how the Rams have built a roster full of former top-10, top-20, and first round draft picks despite not having any first round draft picks.
Many of the college players and NFL Draft prospects we’ve covered at Seaside Joe this year will make it to the next level. Some of them will star with the franchise that picked them high. Some of them will thrive elsewhere.

Something that I think people should know about Player of the Week awards is that they are similar to the Oscars, the Grammys, or any other terrible awards show: Celebrities drive fans to pay attention, not the host. Not the writers. Celebrities. Why do you nominate Meryl Streep every year? People expect Meryl Streep to be there.
This isn’t a direct reply to anyone who PFN mentioned here. It’s safe to say though that in general, certain players get bumped for recognition over others because they’re “college football famous”.
PFF Players of the Week
QB Phil Jurkovec, RB Braelon Allen, RB James Cook (Georgia), WR Williams, WR Jameson, WR Xavier Worthy, TE Michael Mayer, OT Raimann, LG Joshua Mote (Lou Tech), C Linderbaum, RG Kyle Hergel (Texas State), RT Darian Kinnard (Kentucky).

Lots of new names here that I know nothing about. That’s exciting! The tree of knowledge about the 2022 NFL Draft should grow significantly in the next two months.
Baskerville came away with five total run stops and notched two sacks and one hit on four snaps as a blitzer. On 24 coverage snaps, the LSU linebacker recorded four passing stops and allowed -1 yards.
K Jonathan Garibay, Texas Tech:

The B1G also split the Week 11 special teams award between Adam Korsak and Tory Taylor, both of whom are punters from Melbourne, Australia. Think this is a theme?
RB Rachaad White, DL Kayvon Thibodeaux, OL Dohnovan West, RB Byron Cardwell (Oregon)

The updated QB top-10 big board is coming out soon.
