Anually the draft produces appx 15 players that teams rate as true first round talents and I'd say that fits this draft pretty well. I hope the Hawks stick in the top 15 and get a core player. Every pick after that is a crapshoot.

Wonder if Seahawks choose OL Ikem Ekwonu and save a pick by not trading further up for OL Evan Neal. Seahawks could, should punt on a QB this year and go ALL-IN on you-know-who next year (Grayson McCall). Stay with Drew Lock for this year so the Hawks don't have to try to tank and get a much better position in next years draft. Thanks, Kenneth. U B happily busy.

Seahawks should draft Jordan (forgot his last name). The DT at 341lb with the athleticism for their Defensive Line. If moving to a 3-4 defence, a stud in the centre would be awesome.

He is someone who I would accept as a Seahawks pick

I'd love this pickup! But the elephant in the room is we still need a QB who is at least game manager quality, and Drew L. ain't it. I'm with the "pick up Minshew on the cheap" crowd. He's not flashy, doesn't have a cannon, but he wants to win and he's a team guy.

Thanks KJ! Yes, I will address other middling options who are slightly more interesting than Drew Lock. I'm fine with Minshew!

Ken, I pretty much agree with what you've written about the QB position and I wonder what you think about acquiring Gardner Minshew? I think he's better than Lock and would come at about the same price.

I don't see why Minshew would cost more than a day three pick and I like his moxie. Other than that, I think he'd be a good option for the 2022 season--if fans are ok with enjoying the struggles. There's a reason he's moved around. Seattle could be a situation for him to struggle in without immense pressure to win, but not all fans will give him the slack if the Seahawks are losing.

Given John and Pete's apparent willingness to make BIG moves this year, moving up from 9 to 5 is absolutely not a stretch. Is there a better OT pick out there, likely not. Our new, 2023 QB will appreciate an OT like Neal. If he is available at 5, go for it J & P!!

I like that trade down to the number five spot, he would be a great addition

Writing it out, a tackle sliding down and the Seahawks sliding up sounds completely possible to me too!
