Not sure he's eligible for the 2023 draft but keep an eye out in a future QB Survivor for potential Penn State walk-on Chad Powers. He looks like he can ball.

I am inclined to vote for guys that have NFL size and play for a Power 5 college program. I think Brice is an interesting prospect since he was able to put together a big win over TAMU.

That's definitely criteria a lot of teams will use and start breaking down the options with! I was thinking about this last night, but if I were to have done QB Survivor in 2011, imagine how many people would have scoffed at the inclusion of Russell Wilson!

Jalon Daniels... Kansas.

So have you applied to play in Survivors?

Thanks for this crowd sourcing game. I love it. However, I have no idea who is deserving. Like one guy here, I stuck with guys over 6 feet and over 200 lbs.

Choosing a QB is like choosing a second wife. The second wife will always have the qualities your former wife lacked. Since Russell is short, I took a chance on tall guys.

Here's a secret that the NFL doesn't want you to know: THEY have no idea who is deserving! Over 60-percent of first round QBs are BUSTS. Have fun with it.

Great idea, very excited to participate all year and find out who the lone survivor is! Out of the 18 here I'll roll with Tanner Mordecai and one of the last four in. Cool name and had a big season last year. Transferred from OU so has that blue chip pedigree and backed a couple NFL starters.

Chase Cunningham, Middle Tennessee, might be one to watch. He's had some injuries, but he is an accurate passer. His height might be a problem for teams, but he has "football smarts" and seems to make good decisions. He has a big game coming up this weekend against Miami, so we'll have more information on him soon.

Man, not gonna find any love for Bo Nix around here. Plus, he's not all that. Streaky, so if you catch him at the right moment he looks great. Very athletic with a great arm, he has the foundation. But I don't think he has what it takes between the ears. Doesn't read the field well. One of those guys who never became a student of the game because talent alone carried him a long way. Who knows . . . maybe with some great coaching. But I don't see him starting for any NFL team ever. Would do well if he could make a practice squad and work his way into a backup role.

oh man, that kind of makes me root for Bo Nix to be voted in because every reality show has to have characters who the audience is rooting against! those you'll cheer to see voted out. part of the game!

Voted for Bo Nix bein' is as his hometown, Arkadelphia, is 15 miles away from where we live in the countryside. His wife, Izzy Smoke, is probably a relative of a few school bus riders on a bus route i used to drive (now on a different route) 'n they were good kids. Also his highlights at Auburn were against some stiff competition in the SEC.

Arkadelphia is such a great name for a town in Arkansas.

I'm still thinking. When does the voting end?

I don't watch college, so I voted for:

1. The guy who looks like a frat boy. It certainly worked for Stafford

2. The guy with NFL genetics

3. The guy recruited by Clemson

4. Cam Rising is a nice name.

Fantastic! I love to hear that, Luis. I really want to encourage people to vote ANY WAY THEY PLEASE. We should enter this competition without expectations and let those feelings grow throughout the season. The first few episodes of any reality contest start out without rooting interests. So I expect these relationships to grow on us over time!

Caleb Williams, only a sophmore if he keeps playing like hes playing he could be a 1st rounder. Oklahoma and followed to USC. Hes putting up crazy stats so far.

Chase Cunningham, three touchdowns and 408 yards, had a pretty good game in the Blue Raiders win over Miami.

This sounds like fun. Can't wait to see all the twists and turns as the contest plays out. My only question is will there be buffs?

Hmm... hard to see anyone of the final 18 as a guy the Seahawks would draft.

You could be right Doug! Thankfully we've got weeks to whittle down the list, so your help in getting us a starting 24 is greatly appreciated!
