It is with heavy heart that Seaside Joe must inform you that his internet has been down since 4 AM. Due to this unnatural, disgusting act of telecommunications service, I must reduce Friday’s episode of Seaside Joe, a newsletter The Seattle Times calls “sorry, we are unaware of your work”, down to the amount I can type on my phone over 5G until the WiFi is back.
We like polls at Seaside Joe, as they not only invite participation and give you the opportunity to interact even if you don’t like to comment, plus I can write a follow up later based on your answers. If you do like to comment, I would love to hear your explanations on some answers if you foresee any potential surprises in 2024, like for example if you believe the Cardinals or Panthers will make the playoffs.
As today’s Seaside Joe seeks to check the pulse of expectations in the NFC in 2024.
Let’s get to it, as my fingers are too large to be typing this much on my phone unless it’s a text to my internet provider.
NFC Divisions:
No team has won the NFC East in back to back seasons in the last 20 years, so I simply can’t pick the Cowboys. How nice would it be to see Dan Quinn and Jayden Daniels pull this off?
The Lions and Packers get a wrench in the form of Caleb Williams and JJ McCarthy. If not this year, maybe making an impact in 2025.
Yikes!
Not an easy one to answer without bias. Sometimes bias helps us get things right!
I do not know how many wins it will take to win the West, but 12 is probably a good bet.
One more…
Thank you for your answers, and your patience. But spectrum, no thank you for your service.
That may be a personal record. 16 hours without internet. It’s back, we should be back to normal now. Crisis averted.
I voted for 11-12 wins and really think that between the new coaches and a favorable schedule it could happen.
