Hey, all, just popped back in to note that All22 has launched a draft website. It's not fully populated yet, uses a half-dozen area scouts (including Dan Viens/Seahawks Forever, about whom I know very little and for whom I've not yet established a personal filter) for evaluations. I think you'll find the horizontal board useful, player profiles are short -- and in large type -- and feature actual plays, with commentary, by way of demonstrating strengths. It's not Seahawks specific (for that, there's Rob Staton, after all; filters firmly in place), but seems worth paying attention to. My hope is it'll grow into something of increasing use. https://draftsignal.
I bought a championship hoodie and t-shirt. My Seahawk gear is getting a little out of hand, or so I'm told.
I think this offseason has be prototypical John Schneider. Focused, disciplined, and playing the long game. He hasn't boxed himself into anything, and has dry powder to pounce if the right opportunity presents itself. We'll see what the draft brings.
I often remind myself what I was thinking at this time last year. I thought the defense would go from good to very good.......and they did. I was hoping the offense would become average. I figured that combo would get us an extra 1 or 2 wins over 2024, and into the playoffs. What I didn't foresee was the defense becoming dominant (except against the Rams and Bucs) or the offense being one of the top scoring offenses in the NFL. Just as importantly, I did not predict the Special Teams would be, well, special.
So what will the 2026 Seahawks bring? Can't wait to find out. They might be even better.
From the 2014 Super Bowl I have a framed metal work piece of the Seahawks' Logo XLVIII CHAMPIONS hanging on my wall. This year my artistic daughter is going do a framed quilling art piece for me, which will include Seahawks' Logo, and the Super Bowl Logo.
To me it is funny that most of the "experts" still are not giving the Seahawks any credit - AGAIN. Again, they speak of the Rams as the better team, because of losing Walker III, Bryant, Woolen, and Mafe. My feeling these losses were expendable dead or dying wood that was best to cut off for the betterment of the tree. Credit Schneider for recognizing such and not over paying for decaying matter. With his stance, roster strengthening acquisitions, and the current capital the Hawks are in a good position to be a better team than they were last year. These pundits just don't seem to ever learn.
I think it's less about who we lost and more about the Rams making big CB moves. I agree, however, that the "experts" are too eager to find reasons to favor another team. There's no love for the Seahawks, but we kinda like it that way.
I went to the team website looking for a hat. They didn't have very many and I reluctantly purchased a white one. Later I went to the vender website and found a blue one I preferred. Trying to decide if I should do the deed.
Mr. Ken, it is with much love and respect that I must suggest that saying you "profiled" Noah Igbinoghene in that article last month was a perhaps the wrong word choice. You listed his name among other possible CBs to watch for, but he was one of the few you did not expand on, at all. You gave a sentence, or two, to 5 or 6 on the list, but did not say anything about Noah IG other than listing his name.
To attobe for this, I believe a small actual profile is in order. Would you be so kind?
Every time I see Barner standing high up near the stands after the rams game in our rivalries jersey it makes me want one...I hate guilty pleasures but I might need to get me one of those ordered up...
I liked your write up on JSN contract, I think it was very fair considering we could keep him another 3 years without doing a thing. My question is and you may have addressed this and I missed, what does the contract offer look like for Devon Witherspoon after the Rams cornerback signing? Thx
I bought a Big Cat jersey with the 50th anniversary and Super Bowl patches after the NFCCG. A knock off from EBay and it took until a few weeks ago to get here but I was impressed with the quality. My expectations were low but it is nicer than anything I’ve seen Fanatics put out in the last decade and close to my old Nike stitched jerseys. I realize he won’t be playing long, but I just love the guy’s game -and 99 looks good on a jersey.
Roster construction is an art...I just wish I could be an insider and know the prospects better. Would love to scout for a living. I put out three names that might be great value picks...Dani Dennis-Sutton edge, Charles Demmings CB, and Gracen Halton DT. Bonus pick...G Jalen Farmer. They all grade out well in production and athleticism.this draft kinda sucks...not a ton of guys with well rounded games, so many have some type of deficiency. Hoping coaches will be able to select players they can improve with time. This draft seems to have a lot of mud but not a lot of bricks
I decided I'm for sure trading up this year...or trading completely out of this draft entirely...I'm jk but seriously. Two first rounders for pick 12-13-14 outta do it to get Spencer Fano. Do it Johnny, do it...we won't even need a first next year of the draft is as deep as they think it will be.
JS does seem to have thinned out his capital in 2026 and beefed up his 2027 draft stock. I assume that's not just circumstance. They don't need to add much to the current roster, but you don't want to have back-to-back slim drafts. We can probably anticipate more roster turnover next year.
WR is probably not seen as a huge need with the impending extension of JSN along with the Shaheed extension and hopes for the development of Horton. However, if a first round talent at the position (Tyson, Cooper Jr., Boston) falls to 32 and we go for it, I would be happy.

Correcrion: *attone*

3 coffee cups and I converted my old George Fant jersey (I was so sure that he'd become a mainstay before he got hurt) to Josh Jones.
Feeling good about that for several years.
to Idaho Fred : "Especially with all the extra posts about the signings."
That's what it is! All of those extra individual player posts by KenJoe.
... it Does seem like more activity as it takes an effort to keep up (in a good way).

Double on ths one, Chuck. Stay Young, Big Cat.
Yes, you absolutely should get Clark a Super Bowl commemorative sweater.
I bought the Sam Darnold Middle finger t-shirt Ernest Jones IV was wearing at the parade on Etsy.

I also bought a hat, but the shirt is my favorite.
I was tempted to buy the Dark Side bobblehead set, but its $140, so a bit much for a desk decoration.
https://www.foco.com/products/seattle-dark-side-champions-mini-bobblehead-scene
Great Shirt!!
4 championship shirts to wear around Sofi, for the low Fanatics price of $7 million
Love that shirt!
I got a standard Super Bowl championship t shirt.
And yes, those faces are creepy, but I assume they will be a bobblehead version and not their actual faces!
If I could trade up for one player I'm going to try get Spencer Fano and play him at guard instead of OT. He could be a big upgrade to AB.
Who wouldn't be a big upgrade over AB?
