I would be very happy if the Seahawks take Breece Hall at #41, assuming the haven't traded out of the first round nor traded away pick #40. The need a great run blocking OL on their first pick since the plan is to run the ball more than air it out. No matter which RB they pick, and the will pick one, they will need someone to open a hole or him.

I always expected Pete/John to take an RB with their second round pick. Hall or Walker make sense, but if they trade down, they may go after last years assumed first RB of 22, Spiller. They’re getting someone and I’ll be happy with getting a good RB

I'd be happy with Hall at 40 or 41. With Schneider and Carroll, one worries about the reach. At that spot in the second round, this would feel like good value. No telling if he'll be successful in the NFL but one takes calculated risks. This one would seem well considered. A guy who could be elite in the NFL.

For more picks but they don't end up with quality talent more often than not. They seriously need better talent than they have drafted. Perhaps the new defensive coordinator team will help in that respect. Also the offensive coordinator. One can only hope.

Funny to see Josh Norris quoted here, I work with him at Underdog. I wouldn’t be mad one bit if they drafted a running back.

Breece Hall would be filling a position of need for the Seahawks. It's almost garunteed we will be in the tip 5 for rushing attempts. Penny looked great last year, and I have trumpeted my enthusiasm for him since he was drafted. He has never disappointed me, injuries happen at the toughest position in the NFL. Chris Carson has never disappointed me, see above about injuries. Hall is the perfect build for an NFL runninback. I can attest to how difficult it is to tackle a man that size who knows how to side step.

I am almost certain that both Penny and Carson will miss time due to injury in the up coming season.

I would be thrilled if somehow we became a top 5 rushing team . It takes me back to the days of Curt Warner, Chris Warren, John L Williams. Then in later year Shawn Alexander, and Marshawn Lynch. Can't you remember how exciting it was to know we were going to average 4.5 yards a tote. The physical toll it takes on the other team. Most importantly all those teams had one thing in common, they were winners.

Don't believe anyone that says you can pick up a good runningback in the late rounds. Chris Carson fell to the 7th round, because he only had 246 carries. The cream rises to the top as Kenneth pointed out.

I have not watched Walker lll, I shall but I have watched Hall and just hope he is there for us.

If we do trade down 3 or 5 spots because somebody like Sauce was already picked that may ensure we got Breece Hall. I am glad some people do understand how important it is to be able to run the ball, when everybody knows your going to run the ball. As great as Russell Wilson was/is, he was aided in the first few years because we could run the ball. Our 2023 rookie QB will be thankful. This to me would be a sound move in our rebuild. I do hope Carson has healed and can make the team at the toughest position in football. Victoria Chris
