I just watched Season 2, Episode One, "A New Hope" (oops, I mean "A New Dawn"). I don't agree with some others here that they've improved anything. This episode was supposed to give us a look inside the draft room, and a glance at our new Seahawks and what their experience was like in their earliest moments as professionals. I didn't get any sense of the emotion that goes with these experiences. John Schneider is a pretty expressive guy and kind of carried the episode. It would have been really boring without him. It was cool to see the rookies in some behind-the-scenes moments, but there was no context to these scenes or any attempt at story telling. They need to get a better director to help tell a story, set up the scenes, help with the editing, etc. You are working with coaches, staff, and professional athletes, not actors; give them some help!!!
'Hawks fan, big enough to follow fan blogs - had never head of "The Sound of the Seahawks" until today. And based on the comments here, and looking up a few others around the internet, feel safe skipping over season 1 entirely. Will wait until I hear how this entire new series is before checking it out.
I'm just waiting for Hard Knocks! Not just a truly stand our NFL series, but a stand our Documentary series overall. These team specific series, of which i'll include All or Nothing, are best done when pushed by the league/outside production company. Self driven series have never really worked for me.
As i'm now deep in the tangent of sports doc's - this week i've been loving "No Room For Error", a series behind-the-scenes at the 2022 Isle Of Man TT - A great watch for fans of the TT, motorsport, or sport in general. Very honest, very candid, highly highly recommended (no idea where you'd watch it in the US, so sail the seas of piracy or a VPN)
I just watched a New Dawn. I am struck by the same thing I always am, how well spoken and calm all their draft picks are. I am cheering for everyone of them to make the team, not matter what the odds say. Go Hawks
Sound of the Seahawks was worse than lots of fan content on YouTube. I’m not sure if I even watched them all. I hope they do a better job this year. Surely the numbers suggest that they need to.
As for Origin Stories, I’m happy to read anyone’s if it will make me pull for them more. I feel like I know about most of the big names but there’s plenty about even them that I probably don’t know about. Agree with Phillip, I would not mind Pete Carrol!
Liked the Sound. Better than Broncos put out.

If you’re looking for how last season’s Sound of the Seahawks was Emmy-nominated, you have to parse the statement carefully.
It is as Emmy-nominated in that a Seahawks intern named Emmy nominated the series for an award. It did not win.
Just watched the new Sound of the Seahawks. Best one yet; definitely worth the watch.

Really like origin stories being a history buff. Been reading about Derick Hall, an amazing story. May the 12s be with you and Go Seahawks!
