Think it's time for DK to eat some more candy and sugar-rush himself into playing condition. "Doubtful" doesn't mean "out", he can always feel better in warm-ups, and if he does "miraculously" recover, does it mess with Buffalo's defensive prep for the game? That would be nice...
Grubb's focus on DK early has the entire Team walking on eggshells if it doesn't go well. Yikes. Better we "rest" him this week and see what other strategies might work. Going 3-and-out on our initial drives just makes it damn tough to come back from. At least let him warm up as a decoy? Maybe I just want to see Mo Bobo. It'd be nice to watch us march down the field and score. Then everybody gets hungry.
Well, if DK doesn't play it will give all of us an indication of whether Grubb could potentially live without him. If he doesn't play and the offense looks decent, that is going to more information about whether or not to extend DK.
But yeah, put the ball into the hands of your best players, and that is definitely K9 and JSN with a sprinkling of Fant and Lockett. Shenault has earned some reps too if DK is out and let's not forget MO' BOBO!!!
If I am the Buffalo DC I might be a bit concerned about what exactly I will see if DK is out, so that is not a bad thing, either.
I think so it just seems like it 😂. He has been active every game so far but I think he sat out most of the second half in one of the early season games… it may have been vs the Giants?
I just checked DKs snap counts and he was 100% vs the Giants but only just over 80 vs Miami… that might be the game he sat down for the 4th Q. He was just under 80% last week vs Atlanta when he went out in the 3rd Q.
I am going to go ahead and say he is playing. He is sore but based on his body language when he was on that cart about to leave the field, he’s good to go.
Looking at the Bills injury report, they’re down their middle linebacker and a defensive tackle. They were already thin at LB. Could be a great time for K9.
I understand that with the bye week coming up it makes sense. I think even with him even healthy. It’s going to be a very tough game.
I am very glad to have Woolen back. He has been playing better than spoon. I think the competition against each other will make both of them better still.
I was watching the Locked on Seahawks podcast from Wednesday where they have Corbin talking with his counterpart from the Bills. The Bills have played a light box defensively all season and, are willing to conceed the run. The situation gets worse for Buffalo. Their second starting LB, Benard is out for this game joining a depleated LB core lacking depth with Milano their best on IR. Buffalo's secondary is very good but the middle of the field is a problem this season, I look for Seattle to go with more 12 personael grouping and work the middle of the field with TE's Locket, JSM and Bobo. Look for both Walker and Charbs to get more work both at the run and in the passing game considering Buffalo's situation. Shenault is a nice show up for this week at #4 WR considering Buffallo's defensive weaknesses. Buffalo has lost this year when the running game got the better of them. That was before they were down two starters at LB, and not very good depth. The guy from Buffalo indicates they are a little concerned about Walker. When Metcalf might missing the game was brought up by him Corbin brought up Locket, JSM and Bobo and again he conceeded Seattle does has depth at WR. Defensively with Murph back and Harris showed something different for Seattle's ability to shut down the run in the second half and their pass rush coming alive with Mafe and Hall healthy. Add in Jones at Mike and Woolen back and Seattle may start showing the defense we all expected to see this year. This could well be a coming out party this week for Seattle second half of their season. Incidentally, I liked how Jobes looked coming up from the PS at CB. Buffalo doesn't exacly know who Seattle is yet (as we are trying to figure out), but I think that plays to Seattle's advantage this week.
At some point, I know we will start seeing the MM Defense's assignment variances take hold and momentarily confuse QBs enough to give advantages to our Big Men up front. As yet, I don't see us surprising veteran QBs. So far it appears we are on the same learning curve as MacD's Ravens, taking half a season to gel. My hope is to see Josh Allen scrambling for his life, tossing interceptions while avoiding getting crushed from all angles.
Jerrel will be facing his first game after giving away tape on his tendencies last week wrestling with a damn good Edge Rusher. I trust our O-Line coach will have him properly prepped on what to expect. Fant's return no longer feels so desperate, in any event. His initial start in our first game didn't look too good, followed by his injury, so maybe we see Mike come out first?
This should be a good one. Need Geno to lead the charge early so we don’t play from behind the whole game. Seattle is a different defense when playing with the lead. K9 time. 20 touches minimum.

Since 2017, 94% of players listed as doubtful have not played. So I’m siding with stats on this.
And I'm betting most of the other 6% didn't play very well.
Yeah but in addition to the candy diet, how many of those guys were Mr. Unlimited insiders and have the secret magical powers of Recovery Water? 🤣🤣

Didn’t he already miss an early game this season?

I overlooked that the Seahawks cut Ty Okada, so they have a spot for Fant already. Okada is on the PS now.

Lets hope the improvement on the O-line continues, so they can get a consistent run game going! That will go along ways in possibly getting a victory!
