Per the byline, Kip wrote the Wagner article/review, not Rob. Still a HUGE whiff of a scouting report, though.

Another insightful read… And I appreciate your comment about Chuck Klosterman’s book (it’s about three-deep on my desk…) but more so about patronizing local book stores. Jeff Bezos has enough money; go to an independent bookstore. Or biblio.com if you want to shop from the comfort of your BarcaLounger…😏

As co-owner of an independent bookstore, thanks.

The Seahawks just met with LB Josaiah Trotter, who has basically the same draft projection as Hill. He's ranked one spot below Hill on Dane's board.

Josaiah had certainly got a pedigree: His father is 2x All Pro and 4x PB LB Jeremiah Trotter.

A clarification: Hill was born in Wichita, KS and his family moved to Texas when he was 4. Dane writes that Hill was "raised in Wichita" which is why I didn't think to look up the exact dates, but for me I wouldn't say someone was raised somewhere that they only lived from 0-4.

Not a big deal, just that might be confusing.

I really haven’t considered ILB at all with only 4 picks. If the Seahawks stick and pick at 32, I think that taking Hill there would be a reach. But at 64 Hill would be a high value pick. However if there’s an equal high value pick at CB, Edge, Safety or maybe RB,(Price) I think positional needs would trump Hill. If only we had 4 day 2 picks like last year. (Sigh)

If the Seahawks trade down with the Eagles, maybe they move 32 and get back 54, 98, and 103.

Yes. I think they will be a good chance everyone they see as a stick and pick player at 32 will be gone when they’re on the clock. I’m hoping Ty Simpson is still there at 32. The Jets and Cardinals pick 33 and 34. I don’t imagine Simpson getting past those two. There are other teams who might also want Simpson. Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and even the Dolphins might be added to the Eagles. I mean, is Malik Willis really the answer? I’d even consider trading back with the Cardinals at 34 first and getting an over pay to move back one position. Ty Simpson is not a lost pick for the Seahawks.

I guess I don't even see Simpson as the second best QB...and I darn sure wouldn't take him in the first round. Just my opinion..
