A+ on Lock heeds Martin. B+ on gradrewate, original but I had to sit with it for a minute to catch it. Setting a solid example!

I'm still praying for Baker. Nobody available has anywhere near his upside. Drew seems a likeable guy and obviously I hope he succeeds, but I worry he's lost his confidence if he ever was going to be a league average or better NFL QB. And I'm not sure this offense is the best place to put him in to regain that confidence. Good skill players, but a line that hasn't played together with bookend rookie tackles doesn't seem ideal. I say let Mayfield Bake. You just know defenses will be keyed up when Lock drops back to pass.

nice piece for sure...some was a little punishing...

Observation - in the 'Bronco's 3rd possession' gif, this one looked very YMCA. Like they drew it up in the dirt before the play. Clearly the receiver was not supposed to round out that route. That cut was as Crisp as MASHED potatoes. By locking on the poor target, he made a bad choice more than a bad throw. Some credit to the DB for blowing that play up though. He needs to key in on better performances from his receivers and reward those can win their routes. I was saying since well before the draft, if he finished college THIS year, he'd be a lock to be the first QB taken this year. Now we know Pete agrees. Word.

Having been witness to RW's "personality" for almost 10 years, one has to wonder what it is about Lock's that makes him so disliked. I understand that sometimes two people clash, but this seems to go deeper. Lock seems too young to piss people off that much yet!

Off this game alone he looks to have an ability to play quarterback than Teddy Bridgewater ever has. Fangio's decision is plain to see through the statistics you showed. I am hoping that Fangio stole his confidence, and never gave him any trust. There is that chance and John and Pete are counting on that, if their not playing the long game on Baker.

What is it with Baker's personality, or Lock's, or is Lock the Baked in starter for 2022. Victoria Chris

I see where 16 flashed open, but Drew was running full speed, and the safety on top looks like he was baiting that throw so I'm sure (not a) Fan gio, and even for Pete('s sake) they'd be happy with Lock(ing) ball security like he did there.

It was around Drew's point of career where Russ started looking downfield better rather than just running. So Lock's age is in play here as he's still pretty young as a QB in development.

I keep going back to the last game last year, against a quality KC team, in assessing Lock's potential to move forward. He played well, and positioned the Broncos for a win, but...

His passing stats were pedestrian, but that's not what he was called to do in that game. Factor in his (and the team's) rushing stats and they Drew up a good game plan; similar to what Seattle wants to do.

They scored 24 points, and lost the game in the red zone with a RB fumble (and Lock's Cam Newton-like tackle effort).

There's enough film to say he deserves a shot at the QB role in Seattle with hopes of something more than passing grades.

I had pun with this post.

I’m afraid that there’s not going to be a deadlock on how much we dread Lock by the end of the season.

Just hoping the OL can gel otherwise it doesn’t matter who’s lining up under centre or in the backfield, we could be in for a Lock/RB disaster that resembles a plane crash.

(God I feel so guilty for going there. I will shamefully clutch the Bad Taste Award whilst fuelling my tears with gin).
