Since rookie contracts give you 4 or 5 years - Definitely move forward with drafting a potential WR starter every other year - Automatic. This could be the year to do so, but we did put out a 2nd for Eskridge last year. Maybe that should be the beginning of the 2 yr cycle and put heavy emphasis next year to draft a potential WR starter and so on...THIS year, we need to make this D special. Every QB we will face in our next Superbowl run will have QBs who can pick a team a part - unless 'Game Wreckers' are in their face. Edge Rusher #1, O-line and Best available athlete (on defense, leaning to CB) for our #2's. Difference-makers are needed and a potential DPOY can be had. Those first 3+ picks have to be BAMFs!

Priorities. 1 offensive tackles. 2 close down corner. 3 edge. 4 trade for Mayfield or Minshew. 5 wide receiver not a big priority with Fant on board. A receiver with an offensive line that is a sieve makes no sense!

I almost wonder if you can get Williams at 40

This is like playing 4-D chess. You have what the Seahawks should do (based on need), what they will do, what we, as fans, think they'll do, all impacted by what other teams will do. I don't know whether to shit or go blind. Someone please tell me how one can have any real idea how the Hawks will proceed?

Gil Brandt's top 100 big board has some interesting takes on receivers as well as a different look at the top ten. For receivers, Garrett Wilson is 7th, Treylon Burks is next at 13th, Jameson Williams at 26, and Olave at 27.

A guy I've been interested in, Travis Jones from Conneticut, is ranked above serveral better known names. The rarest gem is a guy that can collapse the pocket from the middle. "The 6-4, 325-pounder's 40 time was 4.92 seconds at the combine, ninth-best among participants weighing 280-plus pounds. According to PFF, Jones led Connecticut last season with 25 QB pressures".

Just a hunch Jameson Williams is the pick, however this is one where you truly can't go wrong.

The artificially low salary cap is beginning to catch up with the NFL. There is something glaringly wrong if you can't sign your own players to a second contract. It just takes a couple of stupid owners to break the bank and that now becomes the standard.

As greedy as every NFL owner is they must either do away with the salary cap, or rework it soon. Victoria Chris

Given the Swiss cheese roster the Seahawks have, I'm 110% opposed to drafting a WR. That would be a boutique position to draft on, given that the Seahawks don't have a QB, offensive or defensive lines, secondary, or a quality second LB.
