A scout on Jameson Williams: "How does a player with this kind of talent catch only 15 balls at Ohio State"? I doubt Pete/John pick Williams unless he drops to the second round. They like previous and obvious production. I'd rather have Traylon Burks who could be the next Debo Samuel.

The more I read the greater the odds of a trade-down increase. My top picks (this week) that we might acutally draft are:

1. Trevor Penning LT

2. Boye Mafe DE

3. Damien Pierce RB

4. Troy Andersen FB/LB/HB

5. Tariq Woolen CB

6. Christian Watson WR

7. Travis Jones DT

All were Senior bowl top performers and the Hawks love that.

I'm not even sure we could get him the ball.

In 2023-2027? Can't be worried about 2022 and have no vision beyond what is almost certain to be a lost season.

As is yours! It is certainly a luxury that won't necessarily pay off right away. But if the Seahawks take my advice on how to build the future, it certainly helps to have a premium WR ready to go for the next franchise QB.

I agree, but...lots of noise about trading Tyler Lockett & DK. A bird in the hand...

In the moment, yeah, I think I might have tuned into the 2013 draft had I known the outcome. Mostly for schadenfreude reasons I guess.

Now if they could do that it would be brilliant. I believe Pete and John are safe through 2023 and Jodi has let them know, that they deserve this chance

.... just to add it was one game that Hurt was on the sideline for the second half of THAT game. He lit a fire under every defensive player. I re read my post and it wasn't clear, I didn't sleep well haha. Sorry

I would be very happy with this scenario, keeping DK, and Tyler is a huge part of it. This will still allow Dee Eskridge to grow this summer and fall.

The Seahawks look to be setting themselves up nicely for an all out assault on the class of 2023. The Russell separation anxiety, reloading the team will take time. I think if the Hawks take the best player available at all positions but safety, we will be playoff bound next season.

One road block, and it's not a criticism, Pete Carroll insatiable appetite to win. Honestly I can see us being a 7 win team which could flip by 2 games. If it somehow went to nine wins its because Drew Lock got a fresh start and took advantage of it.

It means Clint Hurt and his staff will have an emidiate effect on every D player. If I was sure of one thing it is Clint Hurt. I remember the game last year when he came out of the booth and to the sidelines for the second half last year. We emediatley got pass rush and got off the field.

Take the best player available this year !

Seahawks could even potentially trade down, add a future 2023 pick, and still get Jameson!
