I saw an interview with KWIII yesterday. He is very well spoken a common occurrence with the Seahawks. He is as keen and eager as you would want. The icing on the cake he played a fair bit of receiver in high-school. He Said he often switched between runnungback and receiver. Do you remember how much Todd Gurley would carve us up catching passes out of the backfield. I don't think this is a stretch, I think Lock is a better quarterback than Goff. During those years the Rams had an up and coming Kupp, Robert Woods, and a tightend who I forgot his name playing in front of Everet, is it Higbie ? The Rams ran the ball a lot. I believe our supporting cast of receivers is better than the Rams of those years. Does Waldron have the magic needed to dial up those great plays. He seems like a good egg and I would very much like him to succeed because of that and he is coaching the Seahawks
Not to stroke your ego Kenny, but it's been the Seaside Joe articles and film of Walker that have led me to believe he's gonna be a stud RB. If we get anything else out of this year's draft, it might have been worth Russ He was past his pull date here in the PNW.
I have noticed in training camp reports that both Walker and Penny have scored TDs on short passes. Here is hoping that flares/wheel routes to both of them is a feature of the offense in 22.
The thing I continue to love is his sidestep at full speed. This is not something you learn, you are born with it. I want him to be as durable as he is good. There is a lot to be said for being able to play most games. Finally I loved that you showed his total rushing attempts in college was a little over 400 something. He has not had the tread burned off his tires. A good defense and a QB that can throw for 180 to 200 yards with Walker and Penny will make us competitive.
I will never get tired of KW3's college highlights. As unhappy as most of us were with the Wilson trade when it was announced, there's an infusion of lot of young talent, and with Denver's 2023 1st and 2nd rounder still to come. And a TON of cap savings. This may be one of those rare scenarios where both teams "won" a trade. I hope we meet them in the Super Bowl soon (and win by even more than we did in 48).
lol, best sports watching day of my life. Win by more in the next SB? Commentators were saying it wasn't a great game. Huh. My best sports day not playing.
I wasn't unhappy when Wilson was traded. I liked the haul. I like Harris, Fant, an I'm really rooting for Lock. Not for picking a QB next year, which we'll do no matter what.
I hope Lock takes off. It clicks. He gets it, and finds that sweet spot where his skills and career come together.
With Penny and Kenny (sorry Ken), Seattle could be good now. That's what I'd like.
Where we get to use our two firsts on stud, depth, and draft a QB in the second. KJ Jefferson is my way-too-early pick
umm, i'm a Razorback rooter but don't see KJ being in the running for the Hawks. Hope Mr. Jefferson has a great season and makes it to the NFL but will more than likely be a day 2 or 3 pick if successful. Then again, who knows.
"Best sports day not playing," made me laugh. Our high school football team won the 3A state championship my senior year and honestly, I enjoyed *watching* the Super Bowl win more than playing in that game. A lot of that was because I kind of doubted I'd ever live to see it. I remember thinking after XL that we'd be back to the Owl in another year or two. Championships are ridiculously hard to come by in the NFL, with the exception of that obscene Patriots stretch.
Haha, whether I was a key player or not probably depends on who you ask. I lettered and started at safety that year, but cannot pretend I was particularly talented. I was carrying pads at my junior college team the next year and quit the team before the season started. There's a Twitter parody account called "3 year letterman" that amuses me just for the name.
I know people thought that was a bad Super Bowl, but it wasn't until the Harvin kickoff return to start the 2nd half that it sunk in that we were probably going to win. I bought the hype of the "greatest offense in history." And it was so amazing to see my Seahawks demolish them. I have a buddy who is a big Broncos fan and wanted to watch the game with me so badly and I wouldn't. I knew how devastated I'd be if we lost. My wife knows that any Super Bowl parties and plans are to be cancelled if Seattle is in it.

This would be so hard to do if the Seahawks drafted any other back except Breece Hall. I'd be like "yeah, there's some stuff in here to like."
But KW3 is an elite prospect. Emphasis on PROSPECT. But as far as draftees go, hard to feel better than him as a second rounder.

Loving all these KW3 highlights. Do you have a recommended YouTube channel for the best highlights and analysis of him?
Not really, I just go to the full game highlights or condensed films and watch the games.

3A State win is solid. We you a key player? That might factor in here--lol.
But that was such a fun Super Bowl. A truly great day with great food.
And don't kid yourself, I'm keeping an eye across the street because I've been watching that team since I attended the first game in the Kingdome.

lol, awesome. You did well not having your Broncos friend there as it would have shaded your time.
I KNEW the Hawks would win. I couldn't figure out their confidence before the game. It was more than their normal blather.
I figured it out. They had the cheat code.
I think it was November the Broncos went to Jacksonville and the offense really struggled with a bad, bad Jags team.
The struggle? The defensive scheme. The coach? Gus Bradley!!!
Seattle had 12xs the athletes the Jags did, and now they had lockdown tape on how to beat them.
When Chancellor (my favorite defensive player... oh, and Cliff) BLEW up Thomas coming across the middle, I said, 'Game Over!'
It was.
I didn't like Harvin so that didn't move me much, but with the offense being able to move the ball, there was just no way to get those points back.
Great day.
But I give Gus credit on that win too
You have to wonder if we'd have won 49 how differently things might have gone in terms of a dynasty in the making.
