Let’s face it: These guys are throwing darts at a board from a hundred yards out while acting like it is in their face. 10-41 is probably Nostradamus-level as these things go.

What got me about the Penning-Ridder “statement” was how worked up commenters got over something that hasn’t happened and probably won’t. For one thing, even given Schneider’s proclivity to reach, this doesn’t make sense. It’s likely that SEA will use one of their first three picks on a tackle. But will they leverage their highest pick in 10 years—not to mention the centerpiece of the Russell Wilson trade—to draft a *right* tackle? I’m skeptical. As for Ridder, no matter what the hype around him, scouting reports pretty consistently say that he can’t go downfield and has accuracy issues. A guy with interception machine written all over him and who can’t go deep isn’t exactly a match made in Pete Carroll heaven.

I thought you might like this as it is on topic. David Sessler of the NFL network, has stated it is a lock that Seattle will trade a 3rd or 4th round pick from next year to Cleveland for Baker Mayfield, if we don't get the rookie QB we want. I think this will be a zero on the reality scale unless Cleveland pays the $18 plus million. We will all be keeping an eye on the "LOCK ". Victoria Chris

Other than yourself, there is only two other people I follow. Joel Klatt who seems to be as informed on college football as anyone, he produced his top 50 players. He did not guess where they were going, just this is the 50 most talented. My other follow is Chris Simms, he breaks down the top 5 players at each position. Simms has no axe to gring. Simms also has extensive contacts in the NFL but relies solely on who he thinks is the best. When he is on with Florio he does discuss teams draft needs, but always says something like I could see that happen. As you pointed out I can not see an NFL team giving away their secrets before the draft. If they did say anything it would be for ulterior motives.

My score last year was one for one, but my pick was I hope the Seahawks take him, which I wrote to you, Kenneth before the draft. My pick was Dee Eskridge and maybe we will find out this year how good he is. Eskridge suffered a horrific concussion, that cost him 7 games. To his credit he got back on the field and didn't shy away from contact. Seattle didn't design very many plays where he was the number 1 read. Eskridge said himself about his first touchdown that he was Russell's fourth read. I am looking forward to Seattle and their draft picks. Desmond Ridder was ranked 5th by Simm's who looks at him as a back up. My first QB choice is Matt Corral, I can't see Seattle picking him unless they trade back to the 20s. My second choice would be Sam Howell in the second or third round. Those choices are wishes.

Thanks Kenneth for providing us this site to talk Seahawks. It allows me an outlet, and forces nobody to read it, but maybe the Russians, uh oh, and I won't be traveling there. Victoria Chris
