There are some great players playing great today. The NFL is fun to watch. It is a rugged game that can only be played by the very best. I appreciate the players who amazingly rise to the occasion and also how momentum plays such a major role in how these games go down.
I 'Don't Care' option would have been useful on the 'who do you want to win?' question. Ravens/Bills, that's just gonna be a great game, and I'm not really fussed about who wins.
Totally. I wish Jerry many sleepless nights revisiting his failed decisions as he watches the decline of his feckless franchise for the rest of his natural life.
I’ll take the Texans and the points. Underdogs all the way, including the <gulp> Rams. Count the number of receivers Stafford hits for big plays. Still hoping Saquon runs all over them.
Ravens vs. Buffalo was a "flip a coin" but you didn't include that in your survey answers. It's all black or white. Sometimes a person knows their own ignorance and is willing to leave it up to those who have stronger opinions. But that's more words then my point deserves.
Always and forever a Seahawks fan. But been a fan of the Lions and some of the other non-media teams. Loved watching Barry Sanders as a younger guy. Give me the normal underdogs in the SB although Houston, current team, isn’t one. They are still too new. Now if they were still the Oilers then Oilers and Lions. But be great to see Bills and Lions. Definitely exciting game. Not as exciting as Seahawks and Denver game but up there.
Did you hear Ray Roberts on Seahawks Man2Man last year? His account of Sanders bearing on hapless DBs had Mike and Chris in stitches. I couldn’t help but laugh with them, it was so infectious.
No I didn’t but yes those teams were not good. But there were really good players. Not unlike our early years. But Detroit been around decades. But I’ve heard Ray at times talk about his Detroit days. I like Ray’s post game comments a lot. Insightful.
I've explained this before, but it's the same as wanting your rival in college ball to do well if they get to the playoffs. It gives credibility to the entire division and strength of schedule bragging rights sort of. Plus, mostly negative things happen to teams who win or even reach the SB. Their team gets their best coaches and coordinators poached, and their players all demand higher contracts.
Here’s my logic for the Rams going far and then losing either in the NFC title game or Super Owl. Look at the 49ers. The mileage on that team is high. They were damaged goods this year. And if a 38-year-old QB like Stafford gets punished in the next three games he might consider stepping away. No matter what, the run to the SB is punishing, and then you’re gifted with a really tough schedule with everyone gunning for you. This isn’t about liking the Rams. It’s about the opposite; especially with a bitter pill at the end. Sure, if they wash out against Philly I’ll be happy, too. But teams that lose SBs tend to be losers the subsequent season. I’d love to see the Rams a version of this year’s 49ers.
I understand that. In college I generally rooted for PAC-12, except the California scum schools. NFL not the same. Agree the losers of SB often have negative results after, but there is bragging rights. SB is not like podunk college bowl game. And notice I said Rams and Whiners and not AZ. SOS has nothing to do at this point. And my preference is those fans, bandwagon Whiners in particular but also Rams, come out of woodwork when they win. Santa Clara Whiners near empty stadium a few years back was awesome to see.
My God, they better not trade Charb. I do see them trading Walker. Lets pick up a powerback later in the draft. This is a killer draft for RBs. We got Chris Carson in the 6th, and Rawls was a UFA.
I'd like to see Walker tried as a WR/RB along the lines of Deebo Samuel. He has excellent hands and should be able to learn how to create separation. He has elite speed. He could be the next what's his name who now plays for Miami. Once he reaches the open field he can use his wiggles and RB qualities to turn good yards into TD's.
Thats actually a great idea. Walker would be devastating once he's in the open field. In the past I have thought he would be a great 3rd down back for the very reasons you describe. But that would almost seem like a demotion and I dont know how that would go. Using him the way you describe would actually be genius. I think I called him a cupcake on a recent Hawkblogger short and I was being a bit hyperbolic. Walker is actually a very tough, physical back he just has a propensity to move laterally when he should just hit the designed gap. Peace. Bruh

It is appalling to me how 30% of us fall to despise the Rams. All my buddies hate the Rams and wish them many shameful L's.
I save it the vitriol for the Yankees. It’s hard for me to despise a team I respect.
Eagles - Chiefs in SB…. AND WIN 3rd in a row
Chiefs - Eagles in Super Bowl
Eagles easy
Quinn who I wanted in Seattle is doing amazing
It’s driving Jerry Jones crazy too. So sad.
If the "so sad" was not intended as sarcasm, I'd like to respectfully rescind my like, above. Thank you.

No contest.. Texans are improving with their QB

Ray is great.
He’s terrific.
What I want to know. How long SJ have you been waiting to get the clip of the Buffalo in a post?
Please, please, please... The Rams have to be eliminated asap
Exactly. Just don’t understand why people prefer Rams or Whiners. They are our closest competition. I never want them to do well.

I will nit be entertaining any of your sense and logic, sir. Leave me and my FTR be.
Agreed. Emotions are not involved in my logic and sense. FTR and FTN's too.
😂
I’m pulling for the Rams because, after the Seahawks, my loyalties are NFC > NFC West.

;-))))
Lions vs Bills in the SB would be awesome and would guarantee a first-time winner!
LA pulled out all the stops in an emotional win in AZ, I think, but no team is capable of taking down the Lions prior to the SB.
I just think Allen is going to find a way this year to get his team to the SB.
Glad to see razzle-flash football receding and the Hard Man version rising. Go Lions.
