Seattle Seahawks fans wanting to get to know new (and sometimes old) members of the team better can now access all of the Seaside Joe “origin stories” archives by clicking on this link or going to the “Seahawks Origin Stories” tab on the homepage. That way it will be easier to go back and discover the histories of some of your favorite players of the past and those who could be your favorite in the future.

But in case you don’t want to do that, or if you’ve heard the rumors, “Oh but doesn’t Seaside Joe barely write? I heard he only posts three five-word stories every six months and that he’s taking a long summer break like everyone else!” then here’s a handy list of every origin story I’ve posted in just the last six weeks:

Previous Seahawks Origin Stories:

FS Quandre Diggs (Part I)

CB Mike Jackson

WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Part I) (Part II) (Part III)

S Julian Love

FB/ST Nick Bellore

RB Zach Charbonnet (Part I)

CB Devon Witherspoon (Part I)

EDGE Derick Hall

RB Kenny McIntosh

ST Jonathan Sutherland

DC Clint Hurtt

WR Dee Eskridge

5 2023 UDFAs

I know that there’s a lot of buzz around and hope for center Olu Oluwatimi, an abnormal amount for a fifth round pick, so let’s dive into what made him into the intriguing prospect and multiple-award winning center at Michigan before he became a Seahawk. Like Devon Witherspoon and Ken Walker III, he was a no-star recruit out of high school. Like Kenny McIntosh and others, he played with some elite future NFL talent back then. Like McIntosh and Quandre Diggs, he had a sibling playing against top competition.

This is the Olu Oluworigin Story.
