Interesting to note that if you look at numbers, Pete is as aggressive today as he was to start his career (going for it, trick plays, fakes), but the league as a whole surpassed him.

11 wins behind Jeff "8-8" Fisher?! Now i see why Pete is more than happy with Geno and just staying competitive, he was playing the long game. And i'll support that target of wiping the moustache... i mean smile, off the ex-Rams & 49ers coach :p

After reading the win totals I had to go check the list. I would not have guessed that Jeff Fisher is 11th on the list of winningest NFL head coaches. It’s surprising to me that Pete didn’t get a second year in NY. It wasn’t a good season, but had a couple of quality wins and he’d only had one year to implement his system. Fortunately for us the NY owners weren’t willing to let him learn the job on their dime.
