One minor correction - The Titans didn't want to extend AJ Brown, so they traded him to the Eagles.

Wait a minute Seaside, I read just this morning that the Seahawks were rebuilding and therefore, did not need Metcalf now. So, they were likely going to trade him, and that Dallas was a good landing spot for him. You really should be more informed regarding these NFL matters.

It was on my homepage this morning. I think the site was Yardbirds or something. I laughed of course and gave it as much credence as I did the Seahawks obtaining Mayfield stories.

I wonder if Deebo's agent knows as much about conditioning as his trainer knows about contract negotiation.

If Seattle already knows they are going to sign DK just do it. Why take that chance that DK holds in and develops a soft tissue injury that doesn't allow him to practice until pen hits paper. If DK isint asking for something outrageous, get DK as many reps as possible with the two headed monster at QB. Save the drama and pay the man now, rookie contracts do not effect DK. Also Seattle is not going to trade DK unless he is being unreasonable and there is no sign of that.

Players can't hold in anymore than they can hold out. Language in the CBA is very clear about players "holding in" and any sort of dispute that keeps DK from practicing in training camp puts him at risk of not accruing a season.

Is that why Jamal Adams held in no that was "injury" Dwayne Brown it didn't matter. I believe what you are saying , and maybe the deal is almost done or done. Perhaps they want to use it to create buzz. It just seems to me if your going to do it, do it

The next time you’re worried about DK Metcalf’s contract, watch a movie instead.

I never said I didn't believe they wouldn't sign him, nor am I worried. Seattle does this all the time, I think if your committed to doing something do it. There could be a million mitigating reasons. Why do they, Seattle always wait until near the end of camp for any contract that they can. Bobby Wagner is another example. I never believed Bobby wouldn't be signed just as I believe DK will. What I wish I understood is why does it always drag on. Pete Carrroll inferred it was Jamal Adams that caused the delay as it was his first big deal. That might be true, as an outsider I wish I understood more. The nitty gritty of behind the scenes. Why would the Packers give only one year garunteed but for A Roger's. At some point they must realize Curly Lambeau is no longer there. Pittsburgh broke the rule for Watt and knew they were going too. So mine is a question not a worry as I can't do bumpkiss about it.
