My comment regarding Gabe jackson. Yes flip him. put Lewis at his natural RG position.

An OT would be great, but a good Edge guy to flatten the new Denver quarterback would be nice too.

Mr. Seaside Joe, I'll admit to being an unabashed Pete Carroll fan but I'd like see you speculate on how long Pete will remain and what the succession plan might be.

I don't want them to trade for Watson but releasing Wagner to increase cap space might be a prelude to exactly that. What if the cost was three first round picks but included swapping Duane Brown for Tytus Howard? The Hawks would get their QB, a young LT, and be right back in the mix in the NFC West. They would also have two second round picks this year and next.

I was in the 4% who voted *5* because:

Although NO-body throws deep balls better, and we’ll miss his unique leadership gifts …

* I’ve survived 10 yrs of Russ running for his life and now he’s 34, more fragile and (maybe) a step slower, and DCs around the league have taught their 6’ 3”, 275 Edges how to close down his spin move. I don’t want to see him snapped in half.

* freeing up > $45 ml in salary cap takes us back to 2011-13 team-building excitement

* I prefer to postpone our next QB extension negotiation, where I’ll learn that $4 ml each MONTH for 4 yrs is an INSULT!

* that’s a bunch of draft picks and a few starters, good for the roster

* JS earned my trust in ‘12, after considerable initial shock, by drafting BJ Irvin (who?!), BWagz (who?), and Russ (oh my!) and riding complementary udfas to XLVIII. Will lightning strike again?

UGH! I'm so pissed I missed this one, Kenneth. I will always love my favorite Wierdo Russell Wilson but ... (double aside: I have very serious fantasies about nurturing a Bernese Mountain Dog named Ruffle Wilson) ... these were not rebuilding moves. It hurts man we all love Russ and Bobby, but listen BBK, Barton, and Brooks have been performing outstandingly at LB and we now have an absolute shit ton of cap space, great draft positions, and are lacking in 2 o-line, 1 CB, and 1 QB. 2 o-line and 1 CB cost less than a half(quarter?) of an elite QB and with the cap room we suddenly have we might be able to solve 2 o-line and 1 CB BEFORE the draft Certainly during. D-Line issues solved with coaching change. Y'all: with 2 o-liners and 1 cb and Lock, with no other stars departing we are SOLID to contend in the playoffs, I believe. And there's still room to dream of a better QB but what we gain in this makes that the last priority - with plenty of room to let the last priority have a solid shot at an upgrade. This is all great news. All depends on keeping what we have, not panicking about QB, getting that o-line and getting that CB. Stafford is upper-mediocre. Lock may be too surrounded by this team plus 2 o-line, and 1 CB by opening day 2022. if Lock isn't upper-mediocre we could find an upper mediocre QB next year, and do much better than last year. This was a great and super smart day and I'm calling Seahawks making the playoffs in 2022 ... with 2 new o-line starters, and 1 CB, all perfectly doable. This was brilliant ... If ... Only ... They ... Do ... What ... I ... Say ... But ... I'm ... Not ... Actually ... Friends ... With ... anybodyexceptmywife.

I will believe the tank os on, when Seattle sings no one of interest in free agency. Number 2 if DeShawn Watson is not traded for with in a week from today; if there are no criminal charges. Jodi Allen might not like, boys will be boys. Victoria Chris
