Ask 100 Seahawks fans: What to do in the 2nd round Edition
What should the Seahawks do at pick 41?
As I wrote on March Fool’s Day, I’ll be gathering the collective answers of the first 100 Seahawks fans who respond to my polls—released every Sunday—and then posting the results here at the Seaside Substack.
We forget that the term “12th Man” means that fans are as much a part of the team as one of the 11 players on the team. As much as the coaches, the executives, and the people who manufacture the uniforms and the footballs.
No, maybe you can’t run a 40 in under 6.00 seconds. But without fans, there is no NFL. Or at least if there was, it sure as hell wouldn’t pay very well to be a member. Yet, nobody every interviews the fans to hear what they think, what they want, and what they would do. Why not? If the product isn’t to the fans liking, you lose the fans.
The role of “Pete Schneider” is to make decisions in the NFL Draft that they believe are for the good of the team, but fans have often been left wondering after Seattle’s first pick… “What just happened and dear Lord, why?”
It may be that a collective “fan pick” would be the worst of all worlds—that doesn’t mean that I stop digging to find out what it is that Seahawks fans believe, what they like, what they think, and what they want. I’ve often said that what I know about the Seahawks can never come close to the collective knowledge of everyone who reads about what I know about the Seahawks. So it’s time to ask 100 Seahawks fans…
What should the Seahawks do at pick 41?
Here’s this week’s survey.
Get your votes in ASAP(!!!) and be a part of the 100. Answer the questions you feel confident you have an answer for, don’t be shy to skip any—including the final question, if you don’t know the names of any potential second round prospects yet. There’s no shame in it, that’s what this survey aims to help us with.

Somebody, anybody good enough to help our defense with 2 of best receivers in the NFL a decent tight end group, Russ needs to get the ball out quicker just take what they give you, let our defense rest for more than 3 minutes at a stretch offense wins games defense wins championships
