I'm not as optimistic as some of those posting. Realistically, I could see the Hawks winning 2 games; I could see them winning 7. I can't see more than 7. Maybe just 6. I'm guessing we'll likely stink pretty badly. Assuming Lock isn't better than any of us expect. I don't see Gino as any kind of an answer. He may play well enough to look good here and there but, when the chips are down, I count on him to fold like a cheap polyester suit.
Cool write-up. I think there's enough talent, coaching, and favorable schedule to land in that 8-9/9-8 realm. I think no blow-outs and being super competitive in the division are things that would keep me motivated about the team's direction.
Last year despite the 7-10, sweeping the 9ers, beating down the Cards, bad, in their house, and competing against the lambs helped ease the losing record.
It would be nice to beat Brady, and I'd love seeing the Hawks just outplay the Broncos and beat them (like 28-17) en-route to the Hawks eventually winning that trade, yeah, that'd be a fun season.
I went back and forth on every game that didn't feel like a loss. So somewhere between 3-14 and 10-7? That's assuming we don't sign a better quarterback than is currently on our roster.
I cannot see the future. Well, never say never, and all of that, so maybe I can see the future but don't realize it. I care, but I don't care. I want them to win, and secretly want them to lose. I am a complete basket case of contradictions regarding this next season.
If we can get by the 49er’s twice I like 11 wins 6 losses. If I thought our quarterback situation was going to be so awful that we’d be lucky to win 3 or 4 games I might have to take the year off.
I'm rooting for 2-15, a top-2 pick and a new stud rookie QB. But that probably won't happen under Pete. They could be as good as 7-10 IMHO. But 5-12 sounds about right.
I think Week 1 is in Seattle and Week 4 is in Detroit. I have us at 5-12 with a floor of 3-13 and a ceiling of 6-11. I’m confident of home wins against Atlanta, the New York Giants, and Carolina; we could beat Arizona and SF at home (depending on who the Niners QB is). The road schedule is brutal—if we don’t win in Detroit, it could be 0-8.
I really have no idea. I don't have any idea who should or will win the starting QB gig, or what the team will be like when that happens, whatever it is. Interesting year to be a fan. No expectations from me for this year. I do really like the longer term outlook on the team, though. Otherwise, shrug. Thanks for all of your time and efforts.

Love the optimism. Reminds me of flying over to Vietnam and believing that I would survive unscathed. . . . Sometimes it’s better not to know.
"Some are calling this the Austin Blythe revenge game" had me cracking up!
You may have been the only one before, but I'm joining the "some" group now.
I can see this team being 9-8 and squeaking into the playoffs

Sweep years are special...two in a row over the 9ers? Yes, I'm take it!!!
Paragraph II is why I read. Since the beginning.
