In the no priority there is a slim chance Justin Cleman or Artie Burns is here next year. Nick Ballore is a Pete favorite, I am still flummoxed with what we are doing for linebacker depth this year ?

I like the order. The top three are the only guys that have a reasonable expectation to play themselves into a big multi-year contract, whether with the Hawks or someone else. If the first two can stay healthy all year, they are probably good enough to cash in. Poona is already there, but if he gets 5+ sacks this year he takes it to another level maybe. I don't see anyone else being very likely to sign as an obvious starter with us or another team.

The way Homer gets more jacked each year, he may carve a market for him as a FB / 3rd down RB hybrid. He's also an elite special teamer. Maybe he gets some snaps as a fullback this year, especially since we may run a lot and more blocking is always helpful.

Apparently the draft is supposedly strong at QB. What are the other strong positions in 2023?

Agree that another LB is necessary. What about a better than average center?

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Penny is the one to watch I reckon, so long as he stays healthy.

Penny and maybe Haynes, depending on how they play this year. None of the rest scream “vital cog on a Super Bowl team.”

Free agents vs the draft is always the consideration, and of course it makes a big difference how the season unfolds.

I saw a tweet from you that "at least the Seahawks won't be drafting a RB next year in the first two rounds" but I can easily imagine a scenario where the Seahawks trade down with one of the 2 1s and 2 2s and pickup a QB, WR, DT, DE and a RB in their first 5 picks. Penny... if he has a really great season he is going to want to be paid, if Walker is ready to be RB1 it won't make sense to do that.
