I just don't know how anyone could agree with those rankings who knows anything about the Hawks. Strengths will be RB, WR, CB, and Safety. I would have the next category as probable strengths and go with O line, QB, and Edge. Post draft we have 4 average or above average players there on the edge. If this o line isnt a top 12 I'd be very surprised. Geno will be above average. Finally we have d line and linebacker and I think its safe to say average on d line and below average at lb. If Adams is healthy and used to blitz, he is going to improve these groups performance. This is about the tenth best roster as it sits now and its quite possible with superior rookie play and average health its top 6 and w luck you can be there on the final game of the season

The pass rushing corps of Avril, Bennett, Clemens, and Irvin didn’t have a Nick Bosa either. They sure got the job done, though.

A) no UDFA´s in projection

B) Nwosu almost 85 percent of snaps is in this rotational system unrealistic for me

C) which game is that one of Drew Lock? :-)))

D) Eskridge can be soon overhauled by others

E) who is NT in these projections? Mone, yeah, but who else....like Reed? I dont think so.... Believe that Young will play much more snaps....and one of my favorite tips to stay in the 53 is that NT Cooper...

I saw a few rankings at end of last year that had us with an average OL, helped by out T spots, obviously. We should be average at OL. Like everyone else, it seems to me CB is low and LB is high. The only thing I can imagine is that he sees us still weak at nickel corner.

I see a bias in his evaluations toward older players with an established track record. He doesn't really account for how fast players age and how rookies and 2nd year guys, particularly at some positions, often come on quickly.

I know that there are 32 fan bases for which hope springs eternal. I know there's a natural bias toward assuming the best, at least by most. I honestly have no strong sense of how this year will go. We seem to have way more offensive tools. Woolen and Witherspoon holding down two sides of the field could be almost unfair. But we won't really know what we have until the first games are played. Then we'll begin to get a sense.

I'd not be surprised by a deeper playoff run than last year. I'd not be shocked if we missed the playoffs with a defense still a step slow. I could imagine Geno reverting to an earlier version of himself and winding up well out of the running, with a top ten draft pick. We'll see.

He is predicting 5.3 INT's for all of the CB's combined. Woolen had more than that by himself last year. To suggest we will get that few from this group is insulting. Whatever his process is, I'd say it is flawed. If those are anything close to what Las Vegas would give as a prop bet, I'd take out a fourth mortgage on my home and bet it all. Five point three interceptions! Ridiculous! Insulting! Outrageous!

I see the O-line better than his grade, just from improved center play if nothing else- The NT part of the DL is woefully undermanned /decent players staffed, and needs someone! If the Edge players can get better at run D I believe they will do OK at Rushing the QB- LB's is so unknown I would love to see someone else come to play.

He put LB over CB? That does not compute.

I started watching "Jury Duty" tonight. Very funny.

I feel like Clay is overestimating our LBs, and seriously underestimating our CBs.

Depth at LB is problematic. And while I love Bobby Wagner and am glad to have him back, he’s not getting any younger.

Does Clay not consider Witherspoon to be a dynamic player? I’ve yet to see an informed opinion by anyone that Witherspoon just isn’t that good. I see the CB position as being as strong as the RB position.

His overall ranking looks just about right to me though.
