Which game on the schedule stands out to you the most?

Really surprised by that opening home game vs the Whiners. That’s huge. Two on the road to end season although “warmer” and drier for the Hawks so maybe good rushing results and big wins.

The Texans game, which won't end until around 1 AM for us east coasters!

The two against the Rams. I like that neither game is on the early part of the schedule.

Toughest game on the schedule is the against the Moons, and we get the bye before it. If we want to be real contenders, this will be our moment to step up to it and make a statement.

I'm looking forward to the Washington game. Early evening, middle of the season, and after the bye. Good stuff.

Hawks Niners week one. Huge game right out of the blocks, no film for anyone

The defense and the 12s are going to have to show up for this one. The offense will be coming out of the gate and will not have even gotten its feet wet.

Let's hope the front office has addressed ticket sales and we don't find 40% of the 12s are Niners fans. Frisco was a mess last year. If it was facing McVey, I'd be more worried. Christian and Kittle both played their hearts and health out 2 years ago. The onus is on their Offense facing our 2nd year Defense. I'm liking our D for putting up a few points, giving Kubiak some breathing room?

Then buy my pair of 300 and not let a Whiners fan buy them! I can’t control who buys when the monopoly Ticketmaster was engaged with by the Hawks FO. They put us in this bad place. But even if a pair of Whiner fans buy my 300 level tickets, I’ll still be louder than them in my Section 134 seat.

That would be nice. A pick six by Wollen or Witherspoon would be awesome. D-Law or Murphy forcing a fumble in the backfield. Love to see a 100 yard game from K9. I’m not sure if you’ve seen any pics of him recently, he looks to be in incredible shape. I think with a contract on the line and this new system, he going over 1000 yards. I’m hoping 1400 yards from him.

They’re down several key players including two who gave us fits, Deebo and Greenlaw on defense. But something that somehow is under the radar is Saleh back as DC, he’s really good and it’s our first true game as an offense. REALLY hope we’re able to establish the run

100+ yards from K9 would be greatly appreciated. I think he’s going to have a career year.

November looks like the toughest stretch w Moons, Rams and possibly the Vikings being the biggest challenges. Overall, It does seem like less obstacles this year with travel, rest and consecutive top opponents.

Just an exercise in predictions based on initial gut feeling from my vast "knowledge" of football, making this an RFK Jr. level of scientific research.

Week 1: 49ers at Seahawks Early in season home game, win 1-0

Week 2: Seahawks at Steelers waiting on QB, Rodgers? Might lose. Not Rodgers, will win 2-0

Week 3: Saints at Seahawks LOL 3-0

Week 4: Seahawks at Cardinals (TNF) Lets say we lose all 3 divisional games away 3-1

Week 5: Bucs at Seahawks Tough matchup, D is starting to gel 4-1

Week 6: Seahawks at Jaguars LOL 5-1

Week 7: Texans at Seahawks (MNF) Stroud is hitting his stride, D steps up Hawks fav by 1.5 6-1

Week 8: BYE 6-1

Week 9: Seahawks at Moons (SNF) Tough away matchup, we lose 6-2

Week 10: Cardinals at Seahawks 7-2

Week 11: Seahawks at Rams 7-3 (see above)

Week 12: Seahawks at Titans Tenn still not good, but is Cam Ward the starter? Doesn't matter 8-3

Week 13: Vikings at Seahawks Just for arguments sake, McCarthy is a stud in the revenge game 8-4

Week 14: Seahawks at Falcons Love Penix, but Hawks cruise 9-4

Week 15: Colts at Seahawks Richardson or Danny Dimes? No matter 10-4

Week 16: Rams at Seahawks (TNF) Tough divisional game on TNF, Hawks win 11-4

Week 17: Seahawks at Panthers Bryce Young balling, still not good 12-4

Week 18: Seahawks at 49ers 12-5

Even with my gut, lets say we lose 20% of the games I thought we would win, that still makes us 10-7, which a lot of years is good enough for the playoffs. Would we consider this a good thing, or a failure? New QB, new receivers, new coaches. Seeing as the "professional journalists" and Vegas have the Hawks winning 7-8 games, I would think this is a good build towards 2026 when this roster that MM and JS put together over 2 seasons should gel and be their guys.

I'm about to say some words that won't make sense but please hear me out.. I'm so tired of hating the same teams...FTR for life. I almost wish we could rearrange the divisions each year so we played different teams twice a year each year. Each year, if the week after the Superbowl, the divisions /conferences were realigned to give everyone plenty of time to adjust we could see a situation where we rotate teams played and spread the hate more evenly across the entire league. The would need to be adjustments to ensure a full rotation occurs. Heck it's possible to change everything...Rotating each year divide the teams in half then everyone plays everyone once...need to add 4 teams to the league to do this with a 17 game schedule. But I'm suggesting a league reformat...to keep things interesting. Don't get me wrong I love a good tradition, but only if it benefits me (partly joking).

Like soccer relegation. Split 16 top teams, they play each other twice, bottom 16 teams play each other twice. Make for some really good games (and some really terrible ones). If the league wants parity, that would help.

I personally like playing the NFC West twice, I like the familiarity of division rivals.

The team did a much better job with their schedule release video this year. That's all I was really concerned about. They should win all the games.

I like a schedule with the easiest non-division games on the road and the hardest at home. Judge for yourself:

ROAD

Week 2: Seahawks at Steelers

Week 6: Seahawks at Jaguars

Week 9: Seahawks at Moons (SNF)

Week 12: Seahawks at Titans

Week 14: Seahawks at Falcons

Week 17: Seahawks at Panthers

HOME

Week 3: Saints at Seahawks

Week 5: Bucs at Seahawks

Week 7: Texans at Seahawks (MNF)

Week 13: Vikings at Seahawks

Week 15: Colts at Seahawks

I’m wary of strength-of-schedule assumptions and accept that there will be early growing pains for the offense. Even so, there are opportunities here. They absolutely cannot have another sub-.500 home record, though.

I know the NFL makes a big deal out of the schedule release, but I just don't really care. We already knew the teams, so I can't get worked up about what order they fall in. Line 'em up and let's play. My only thought is that with San Fran first, before they have any tape on our offense, might be good. On the other hand, we may still be getting our feet under us on offense so maybe that doesn't work out so well. But, the Saints came out of the gate like a house on fire last year, so perhaps we can do the same.

Playing Pete, Geno and the Raiders on the first game of the preseason is hilarious. That'll be fun.

11 wins I think.

Paul G's avatar

They can get to eleven by splitting the division, winning four of the six non-division road games, and winning four of the five non-division home games. That’s certainly within the realm of possibility. My biggest concern is a slow start because of all the changes on offense. A 1-3 start would set up some early must-wins.

I have them losing to the Bucs, the Texans, the Commanders, @Rams, the Vikings, and the Falcons. 5 and 2 to the bye, then 6 and 4 to the finish. That's how it looks to me three and a half months out.

I have 4-3 at the bye (losses to SF, @Pittsburgh, and @Arizona) and 7-3 after (losses @Washington, @LAR, and one more home loss). So, 6-2 at home and 5-4 on the road.

I was just going to say that all I really care about is our first game, our last game, and where the bye week lands. Bye week is neutral.

The season is bookended by the 49ers. That says all I need to know.

Coming out against the niners will set the tone...we better be ready.

I'm also keeping an eye on Saints, can KK beat up on his old team? Will the saints know KK tendencies and adjust accordingly giving others a blueprint on how to beat KK and his system with this personnel etc?

Would love to see Darnold ball out against the team that let him walk...Vikings will likely have good squad so it should be a good test.

Both of our TNF games come after "easier" opponents (Saints, Colts) and before games against harder opponents. Saints are a mess right now, while the Colts QB competition is rather uninspiring at best. Bucs are definitely a contender in the NFC, while the Panthers down the stretch last season played very well taking the Chiefs, Bucs and Eagles to the brink in back-to-back-to-back weeks until losing on the last drive, but Bryce Young showed that he can be the guy, with good mobility accuracy and calm under pressure.

I love the timing for both 49er games. It seems to make them more special.

I’m hoping that for our last game, the 9ers need a win to sneak in as a wild card. Of course the Hawks will already have sewn up the division title, and will kick their butts to keep them out of the playoffs.

That would be the perfect way to finish the season.
