If the Seattle Seahawks are going to prepare for one game all year like it is the Super Bowl and then actually play like they belong there, they might as well make it this one against the San Francisco 49ers. There’s no reason to keep that kind of effort in their backpocket, because as this season has been going, this really is their Super Bowl.
The Seahawks’ last chance to stop the bleeding, avoid their worst division performance since the modern NFC West was created, and prove to us that there is more in the tank than going 4-0 against teams currently slated to pick in the top-seven of the draft and 2-6 against everyone else.
