49ers purposely took out Shaheed and tried twice to take out JSN! Yesterday a 49er tried to trip Shaheed on his kickoff return and the same guy who tried to hurt JSN last time gave him a head-butt and neither got called! The 49ers better get fined for that level of dirty play!
I just wanna say, Dereke Young is a big dude. There was a shot of him coming up on Moore (who's not small) during a punt return and the disparity was memorable. He's the same size as Emmanwori, but thicker and wider through the chest and shoulders. He made Moore look like a high schooler.
I pretty much never troll on Twitter/X but I was up past 2 AM (eastern time) doing just that. I never curse or say anything mean because it's more fun to seem sincere. I had so many bookmarks from 49IRs fans claiming they would win by 20, take over Lumen Field, change its name to Purdy Stadium, celebrating Darnold's injury, etc., etc. One particular jerk filmed himself and friends in 9IR gear walking into the stadium to "dominate the Seacocks" and deleted his post after I asked him if he wouldn't mind showing one of them leaving.
I watched highlights until I was delirious and listened to all the postgame shows on YouTube and podcasts. I had to take ZzzQuil or I would have been up all night. Hands down, 1-17-2026 has been my favorite day of this short year.
I would like to know what Shanahan said to McDonald after the game it looked rather intense. It was an amazing game for the Seahawks. It appeared like Shanahan rode McCaffrey completely into the ground this time.
"What an atmosphere. Holy smokes," he said in his post-game press conference. "The 12s, our organization, is putting on a great setting, and you do try to take some time and look around [during the game] and understand how incredibly blessed we are. We have the best fans in the world, and it definitely made an impact, definitely to start the game. That was freaking awesome."
I was gonna say I didn’t care who won between Bears and Rams. Then I read a bunch of comments by Rams fans at Turf Show Times about the Hawks win over the 9ers. Now I want the Hawks to play the Rams and demolish them. They seem to think they’ll have an easy time beating the Hawks in the NFC Championship.
I'm of the mind that it's even more embarrassing to not even get that far. Especially against the sorry Bears. And also, that the Rams are the second-best team in football, so why risk an upset? But I have to admit that they are my least favorite team and beating them would be very, very satisfying.
The Hawks set the tone last night for how to completely defeat an opponent. And someone else already said it but, is Kyle Shanahan still in the NFL head coaching class or is he more of an offensive coordinator??? His season performance cost the 49er’s ownership $15 million. Fair deal for both parties ??? Hats off to all the Seahawks players, coaches, and support staff. Fantastic performance last night, and you made Seattle Proud again!!!!!! GO HAWKS!!!!
Is it possible the Hawks just got Shanahan fired? He’s had a great run, but hasn’t won the big one and the last two games were embarrassing for the 49ers.
Not a game comment, but a question- I know there are a couple of us in Nova Scotia. If the Hawks reach the SB is there any interest in a SB party in the province?
I know the 9'ers defence ain't all that, but a reminder, their offence was pounding people in the games leading up to week 18. Purdy had 5 TD passes in consecutive games. They were rolling people. In two games against Seattles MOB defence......9 points. They were 0/0 in the red zone last night. Forget end zone, they couldn't even get to the red zone. Purdy hurried on 58% of his passing attempts. The centre for the 9'ers in post-game interviews even talked about how unselfish the d-line is in the rush plan. Even the centre of a hated rival admires our d-line.....I mean, that's uncommonly uncommon.
Jalen Sundell is our centre of the future. He had a really, really good game. His speed getting out on blocks, his effectiveness at the second level, and his smarts in pass pro, he's going to be elite.....perhaps by next year. We only need depth there. We have our long-term answer.
Our TE's are a terrific group. They were sealing guys successfully all game. And they are available when needed in the pass game. Love this group. Kellerup had a really good special teams game too.
I'm very happy for Ken Walker. He deserved a game like that. He's been running with zero openings for so long, to have a game where there was actual space to get to, both in the front side and back side of plays. Really happy for him. Worried about Charbs, but it didn't sound too bad.
Robbie Smash even had some good plays on the night. Glad to see him contributing again.
I think it's possible that the Seahawks are more effective in 13 personnel than the Rams are, despite all the chatter about how effective that is for them. We stay in nickel when they run it, and nobody is staying in nickel when we run it. Because FTR's.
IF we play the Rams next, we'll have one more day of rest going into it. That's an advantage. And they have some work to do to get there. The Bears are a flawed team, but they have weapons, so a punchers chance still. Especially if Stafford's turnover tendencies continue.
What a great way to spend the morning......reading Seahawks post game content.
We don't really know about "the process" that MM always talks about, but if it means an overall process improvement approach, similar to what's been used in many 20th Century industries large and small, then we certainly know now. The process means they get better and better each week.
I watched this game with a room of 9ers fans that entered the party already crying. I was quite happy to supply tissue. This game is the crystal game. These are the rising Seahawks that will absorb and conquer all in their path

Lumen was loud!
My ears were still ringing when I went to bed.
The 12’s are back!

It was such a throw back to the Super Bowl win against the Broncos. Nothing I like more than to sit back, relax and watch a good Seahawk blowout.

I actually felt bad for him.

Im upset we let them DOUBLE their amount of points from last game...

Rams fans that I know are concerned, and that pleases me
