Really challenging!! I was just cruising along, and then all of a sudden I ran out of roster spots. So, I cut back to my "must-haves". I was left with one spot available for four guys.
Mike Morris won the cage-match.
I won't bore you with the details, except to say that I kept 9 O-Linemen.
Be curious to see just how wrong this is. Because I'm certain this is NOT what it will end up being. There's a lot of time between now and roster cutdown day.
My Seahawks 53-Man Roster
QB (3): Sam Darnold, Drew Lock, Jalen Milroe
RB (3): Jadarian Price, George Holani, Jacardia Wright
FB (2): Robbie Ouzts, Brady Russell
WR (6): Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, Cooper Kupp, Tory Horton, Jake Bobo, Cody White
TE (4): AJ Barner, Elijah Arroyo, Eric Saubert, Nick Kallerup
OL (9): Charles Cross, Abraham Lucas, Grey Zabel, Jalen Sundell, Anthony Bradford, Beau Stephens, Josh Jones, Amari Kight, Olu Oluwatimi
DL (5): Leonard Williams, Byron Murphy II, Jarran Reed, Rylie Mills, Brandon Pili
Not predicting it, but I would not be surprised in the least if there is a person on the final roster who isn't even a member of the Seahawks right now.
I like it. There will always be a surprise or two once you see the players perform with pads on. I have a lot of hopes for some younger players. Last year MVS was knocked out by a younger players. I wonder if this year it’s Dante Fowler that gets knocked out by Ivey/O’Toole/Gains/Sherriff and what if Emmanwori sees more time at edge?
I think the fun part about doing it with the least amount of info is that we can look back and prove that someone who made the roster was only on 5% of rosters before camp.
I tried to remember how many players at certain positions the Hawks have traditionally kept but even that was tough. I thought between 8-10 offensive lineman sounded about right but felt that I was really light on receivers D-line, linebackers and corners....... Especially receivers
Forget Millroe unless he changes positions ( Slash ) and Pritchard ( too many better CBs to beat out).

Nick is out because of ankle surgery. Should be ready on Day 1 of regular season.
Wow! Thanks for the update!
Well that was hard. We have a very deep team. We’re going to see some guys claimed that I really wish we could protect. That’s the NFL.
I have milroe as the emergency QB3 and does not take a roster spot.

There are no due dates when you're having fun.
Not predicting it, but I would not be surprised in the least if there is a person on the final roster who isn't even a member of the Seahawks right now.
This is likely.
Is there a due date to project? Can we look at some of the preseason before submitting?
This won't be the actual 53 man roster that the Seahawks use to make final cuts, so I wouldn't take it that seriously.
There will be a pre-training camp edition (this one) and then a chance to revisit the 53 man roster outcome in a month or so.

Yes, I’m always looking for those guys. (Chris Paul, Logan Brown)
Much more challenging than I thought!!
Yeah it's a lot harder to name who has to be kept when it's actually crunch time to get the roster to only 53 spots.
Plus there are always a guy or two who are kept on the initial who are then moved to the practice squad. Wasn’t Cody White on the initial last year?

Probably somewhere in the range of 10. 8 would be really small. 12 would be a lot.
