Seahawks 53-man roster, 16-man practice squad projection: Post-preseason edition

How the Seahawks can attempt to keep 59 players instead of 53: 8/26/2024

The Seattle Seahawks finished their preseason schedule with a 19-15 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Saturday and as promised, here is my initial projection of the final 53-man roster and 16-man practice squad based on everything that we’ve covered here at Seaside Joe since free agency, the draft, the undrafted signings, the roster churn, OTAs, minicamps, training camp, mock games, and mock games against other teams.

If the Seahawks get lucky and go with a few savvy roster moves based on recent and not-so-recent news on the injury front, Pete Carroll might be able to keep 59 players instead of 53.
