Seahawks Pre-Draft 53-man roster projection
Who is locked into Seahawks 2025 depth chart and where are the holes?
There is a lot that has to happen before the 2025 Seattle Seahawks can settle into their final form: The rest of free agency, the draft, undrafted free agency, waiver wire claims, minicamps, OTAs, training camp, late offseason trades, and final cuts, some of which could shock you.
Before the rest of the offseason can happen, we can still take a snapshot of where the Seahawks roster stands after two weeks of free agency and one month until the draft. This is an early projection of where Seattle’s 53-man roster could stand as of March 25th, how many holes they have left to fill, and how they will use the draft to complete their depth chart.
Here are the players I would say are locked in or almost-locked into the final 53-man roster, as well as the likelihood to draft a player at that position, what round to draft that player, prospects to consider at those positions, and how John Schneider, Mike Macdonald, and Klint Kubiak could fill their remaining needs by the time we get to the end of this 53-man roster.

OFFENSE
QB (2) - Sam Darnold, Sam Howell^
Draft Likelihood: 15% (Rd 2-7)
The Seahawks have their starting quarterback for next season, but are probably open to a competition for the backup position. Though we can’t rule out a first round pick on a QB (Jaxson Dart seems to be the name that pops up the most often in this range, but Shedeur Sanders could go later than expected), it would be surprising.
Remember that Seattle has used just two first round picks on a QB in their entire history (three if you include trades) and zero second round picks.
If the Seahawks want competition for Howell, they could do that with a day two pick or an experienced free agent such as Drew Lock, Joe Flacco, or Carson Wentz.
