There are three prominent offensive coordinators in the NFC who have received the most attention for head coaching positions: Ben Johnson, Dave Canales, and Brian Johnson.

What do they have in common?

They are the offensive coordinators for the only three NFC playoff teams that do not have head coaches who call plays for the offense.

What that tells me is that right now we’re generally giving the most credit to the person who calls offensive plays, whether that be Sean McVay, Matt LaFleur, and Kyle Shanahan as head coaches or Ben Johnson and Canales as coordinators.

By the way, the four remaining teams in the NFC playoffs are the ones with Shanahan, LaFleur, Johnson, and Canales. The only losing team that came close to winning over the entire first round was the one with McVay.
