I’m putting Laviska Shenault on the roster instead of the bubble. If the Seahawks keep six receivers, it would most likely be a special teams contributor, and any of these three could have a case for that.”
FWIW, Bryan Walters says that Cody White is ahead of all of these guys and expects him to make the team if they carry six receivers.
Like- almost no indication he was catching a TD pass. He just let it drop into his hands. Strikes me as a tough guy. Seemed speedy.
Dislike: When his exuberant teammate tried to congratualte him, he chose to brush him off, opting to hamm for the camera instead. Sorry, it just strikes me as something a me-me-me guy will do. Do it again and the teammate will develop a fukem attitude, for good reason. That crap gets infectious.
Keep Williams and Easop. I think Williams is a lock because he's the best returner on the team and with his speed and athleticism and reps at CB. In time he could be a really good corner.
All Easop does is get open all the time and make catches. Maybe a young Largent with more speed?
I feel like we keep looking at this team through the Pete Carroll lens. This is a new regime, get ready for some changes. I, personally, am ready to see something different.
I’m pulling for Garret Greenfield, the small school offensive lineman with outrageous athleticism. He’s green as heck, but a couple of seasons as a back-up could really polish him up.
There’s always a player or two I get moderately invested in each season that doesn’t make the team.
Me pulling for him is likely the kiss of death for his career.
I’d differ in having Artie Burns, Tyrice Knight, and Mike Morris as locks on the defense. Brady Russell looks like a lock at TE, especially given the injury situation. Agree with you on the OL locks and about a bunch on the bubble.
Barrett—Mookie over at FG has him on the 53 over Rhattigan and that makes some sense to me: younger, cheaper, already familiar with MM’s D concepts and Harbough knows what he can do on STs
Big Guys, especially on Offense, are still rare again this year. That Forsyth is still playing points at that. Watching his 1on1 replays are painful for me, even knowing little about the positions.
I came straight to the comments section after reading the first sentence because I know who I will say and why I will say it. Ty Okada. The guy was filling in at the end of last season as a member of the 53 and played well and looked comfortable with the competition. He started as a small school player that went undrafted even though is film was good and his stats were stellar. He's had to overcome that background and might even get past waivers, but I doubt it. Either way I am rooting for him and I for one will not be surprised to see him starting for this team or some other team next year.
I love what we have seen from many other young guys. Dereke Young, Shenault, Laumateya (sp?) and others. I'm rooting for them all.
After reading some of the article, I see Mike Morris is on the list of bubble players. Really? I would have thought he was a lock. While Okada wasn't considered on the bubble, which surprises me as lots of 53 predictions have him gone.
I’m going to say Tyrice Knight because I want to see the MM come full circle on a rookie from the LB position. But because I think he will make the team, my final answer is George Holani.
Can I also include that I’m rooting for the Eskeridge experiment to be done now and will not be sad at all if he does not make the team?

Bryan Walters?
Expert at the bus stop... :)
Ex-Seahawk who does some pre- and post-game work for the Seahawks and guests periodically on Seattle Sports:

The Wes Welker we have at home.

I didn’t catch that. Nice insight and might not be type of attitude a new coach wants to deal with. Didn’t see but like your thought there.
Like how Legion of 12 breaks it down. May the 12s be with you and Go Seahawks!

Eskridge is long gone... finally!

Kenny McIntosh 'n Tyrice Knight, "Make It So."

Barrett can also be tapped for RB/kick returns, since versatility is the name of the Game under Mack.
He is a good fit for the MM Seahawks, and cutting Rhattigan frees up substantial cap that could be used at the trade deadline or banked.
Laumea, Stone foot make team and possibly Jarrell. The rest of the linemen are PS material. I don’t think we would be able to stash Jarrell.
Both running backs make it and maybe Dareke for 6th. Dj James is most likely PS because Burns is the better back up nickel.

McClendon Curtis has caught my attention. I'm cheering for him.
Is it 7:00 yet? Go Hawks!
No, it is not 7:00 yet.

I’d hate to see Macintosh go. I rate him higher than Charbs at this stage.
I hope they can all reach their dreams of playing NFL. I’m sure they’ve all worked hard to achieve that. I know they all can’t but good luck to all.

One Offense is Holani, and Defense is Okuda
I’m rooting for Dareke Young … and Dee eskridge second.
