Of course who we should draft is a function of who has been taken before our #9 pick (or if we move up to #5 via a trade). I suspect that Neal and Ekwonu will be gone before #9 hits. How do you pass on Linderbaum. Well, this Canadian Seahawk Charter seat holder from Calgary says you cannot pass Tyler by. Like KJ Willers said below, he IS a generational talent. (if by some chance either Neal or Ekwonu are still available at #9, I would take either one of them). Blythe can fill the hole at C this year if we were able to draft Neal or Ekwonu. Plain and simple, it is time we started building a GREAT O line - especially since we will need to protect our 2023 franchise QB much better than we "protected" Russ.

I still believe DT Jordan Davis is a generational talent needed in the 3-4 defence.

Loved your write-up on Jameson Williams and after seeing the contracts for Davante and Tyreek, don't mind grabbing another top-flight receiver. Also want to build the trenches so Davis or Linderbaum would be solid adds. I think best-case scenario is to have 4-5 guys left on the top of our draft board at 9, trade down to 12-15 range as the picks shake out and nab another 2nd or 3rd rounder in '22 or' 23. Re-stock that roster!

Know it won't happen, but we need to build from the ground up. Go with a generational talent in the middle, like Tyler Linderbaum.

IMHO- IF Seattle had have gotten a top notch center- added a B+ or better regular DE to Dunlap and Taylor and Robinson- along with ( HEy they resigned Coleman to man the nickle) and Had resigned JR at corner , I truly believe with Norton gone at D coordinator they could have made a RUN at the Big game this year. RW wanted to play under a non-confining System for himself - All Good - Now - they need to give Colin Kapernick (sp) a shot under the BIG lets all compete umbrella!!!!

I’d love to see a monster D lineman at 9, but honestly, if they could trade down a couple of spots and then get Linderbaum I’d be very satisfied.

My plan other than Safety and punter would be to draft the best player available in any round at any position. A first rounder Sauce Gardner seems like a future pro Bowler at the very least, if he is still available.

Why is it we don't hit DK on a slants 2 or 3 times a game. Was it that Russ had a hard time with that pass. The closest physically similar receiver Mega Tron lived off slants all the way to the hall of fame. Victoria Chris

In my view, the Seahawks are a rebuild team. They need so many spots filled if they plan to be a SB contender. I believe defense win games. So I would use the 9th pick for drafting "Jordan Davis" to collapse & wreak havoc up the middle; putting pressure on the QB and running game. A talent needed that has been lacking for a long time.

Don't know how the board is going to look at #9 but here goes:

1. No, I don't want to trade down if any of the following are still on the board at #9 (in order of preference):

- Ikem Ekwanu

- Evan Neal

- Jordan Davis

- Kayvon Thibodeaux

- Jermaine Johnson

But I fear the ability to get a later 1st round pick plus a mid-level 2nd round and mid-level 3rd round pick (he better not settle for anything less!!) will be too much for Schneider to pass up. In this draft, may not be a bad thing actually.

Give Kaepernick a chance and fire Pete Carroll ! If Carroll stays , then don’t let the geezer be around for the upcoming draft ( send him to Bangkok to have secret fun with Thai ladyboys ) . During the draft , trade down our #9 up to two times and then get Rebel’s QB Corral and then RB Spiller . Then , concentrate on getting a LT , RT ,EDGE and a CB . All of them in the first two days. Then repeat all of that in day three .

See you in the Super Bowl kicking Donkies ass again !

GO HAWKS !

Off the topic, I believe somewhere in the 2022 draft we need to select a potential "franchise" Kicker. Meyers needs to go. An kicker has ONE JOB, to reliabily and consistently score points, and he must be that.....reliable. I know nothing about 2022 K draft picks, someone out there must.
