I’m also of the JSN persuasion, only bc of team construction. We are now a defense first,

running team first (so bye bye Grubb) and have finally invested enough in the OL (by that I mean contracts, draft picks, coaching and game planning) to in theory make Drew Lock effective if not another Darnold

But you do need a JSN who can get open against anyone/anywhere and who can catch the off target pass. And get enough explosive plays to keep the other guys honest.

So I’m in the minority but fully understand the argument for Darnold.

JSN is great, but if he doesn’t get the ball within his catch radius, on time and without being led into a defender’s blast zone, he can’t be special. He’s a great race car, but I have to go with the driver that makes him run. Sam Darnold gets my vote.
