The Seahawks finished their 2026 preseason with a road game against the Chiefs on Friday night, featuring Jalen Milroe and Garrett Nussmeier. It was more of an opportunity for fans to see the second-year quarterback and a few players competing for spots on the final roster and practice squad than it was a dire situation to score the most points.
Well, even that wasn’t an issue. Seahawks 9, Chiefs 9.
This will be a short post, simply allowing for Seahawks fans to react to the game. There was a very long post earlier about all the 32 quarterback rooms heading into Week 1.
In his final preseason start, Jalen Milroe went 16/26 for 223 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 1 sack, and seven carries for 33 yards. Jacardia Wright had 15 carries for 22 yards. Cody White had 69 yards, Emmanuel Henderson had 58, and it was a quiet one-catch, 13 yard night for Montorie Foster. Trevon Diggs had an interception and Michael Dickson was great. Another rough night for Jason Myers though, missing a field goal and a PAT.

I cannot be the only one a little worried about Jason. In the preseason you can explain all bad things by saying " ah its preseason it doesn't count." For me at least missing kicks is harder to do that. The phycology of kickers scares me.
Very surprised at how well Milroe played. I don't know if we need to keep 3 QBs on the 53 or not, how many teams do this? Free up a space for someone who may play more regularly and help us in the playoffs. An extra WR or DB would be fine with me. I would say as well as Milroe played that maybe next year we could cut Drew and find another 3rd QB to stash on the ready squad.
