Donald and Lock both look very good. The offense overall well it resembled an unstoppable juggernaut.. My excitement and enthusiasm are somewhat tempered by the fact that it is preseason.. The NFL is made up for the most part of the the best of the best coaches. I have a memory of Chip Kelly, taking the league by storm until he didn’t..All all this is by way of saying, we will know where we stand as a team, if I had a hazard, I guess I would say within the first six games. The leagues best defensive coaches are at the drawing board right now..

In any case, it should be a fun season.

One sack in two games? Actual running game...are players getting fitted for rings soon? We need a cold shower to remind us this is preseason, it is mid August. We look invigorated and inspired, but there's a long way to go still.

11:19 first Qtr....watch Zabel go against Leo Chanel. LC puts old GZ on his arse with one well timed, well placed "pop". Brace for it, it's not pretty.

Darnold looks good throwing on the run on those little sprint-outs

The O-line has definitely benefited a huge amount in having very good o-line coaches and the scheme seems to fit with all of them, at least what we've seen, in a very good way! That to me is probably the biggest take away I have from the first two pre-season games!

Impressive running attack! I like OC’s outside running game, that sets up bootleg pass action! Nice to see TE’s in the action! I love Kubiak’s offensive style!!

Other interesting thing is what I read about Oakland having "serious juice" based on what their 1's did to the Niners.

The same 1's that Seattle simply snuffed the life out of.

Hmmmm....

In case anyone is wondering what the other side's analysis of the game was...

I liked the headline on this one: "Lackluster in Seattle"

Hadn't realized though how many Chiefs were injured in that game, multiple multiple injuries. Consistent with a good ol' fashioned ass-whupping.

There was a time when Seattle held a sort of brutal record -- % losses for their opponents the week following playing Seattle. Implication was Seattle was an unusually physical team, requiring more than a week for the opponents to recover.

I don't remember where that particular metric was recorded. But would be awesome if this team has that effect on their opponents -- just too physical a beating to recover

SUPER BOOOWWWLLLL!!!!!*

* ...chances are better now.

I'm a blind homer fan with basically no football experience so I wouldn't put much weight on my frenzied excitement. That being said...

WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!

My brothers and I all had a very fun time watching last night, from the very first drive till the end. We're all interspersed over the country, so we use game day texting as a way to enjoy the game together. And man, did we enjoy this game!!

From the little I've learned from SSJ and the videos you link to, I was excited to see how much the O-line has progressed. I also started to feel a little bit curious. Can the O-line coaching and Kubiak's game plan make it easier for this group to push the D-line back than in years past? Some of our O-line are the same players we've had, but MAN, it felt like everyone in this group was able to not only push back their assigned D-lineman, but also to create "clogs" that prevented those D-lineman from moving to the play-side of the field. I'll patiently await further education on this point. :)d

Also, for some reason I'm able to "like" the article, but not the individual comments down here. I'm on an old MacPro, and I'm not sure if that is part of the problem (because in addition to my lack of football knowledge, I also lack computer knowledge).

Uh oh...I've heard for my first time this season national media uttering positives about what they are seeing in Seattle. NFL Network pregame for the Whiners. I think we've finally made them at least acknowledge we have a team that could possibly not be just meh.

It was impressive they played together with energy , discipline and direction . It was nice to see. But time will tell when they play against all starters. The team is more focused , thanks for better coaching this year. It will be fun to watch their progress from here.

ST is a real concern as they were last year. They broke almost every kickoff and a few punt returns for yards and finally a TD. The receiving corps may not have the big names but the depth is impressive. Looks like Young is trying to save his career in his last year. He looked good and sure hands as opposed to past years. Bobo like Outz is a lock. Henderson looked good. Hope the turf monster didn't bite him. MVS is a mystery. No playing time but gets cudos from Kubiak. The receivers blocking has also been very good the last two weeks. I did see MVS make a nice catch last Tuesday at camp but not a lot of throws. Walker looked great at camps as well. Both he and Charbs had big runs they would have broken in an actual game. Milroe needs to refine his touch. He is a work in progress. I expect some special play desgins for him though this year. The defense did start out slow, not to impressive. Having Reed and Williams in there would have made a difference. I will say I like the play of Morris the last two weeks. Did anyone notice Tyreke smith in any plays. Never called his number. Never heard Shaq called on any bad plays which is good. I think the backup nose guys are proving to be better than first expected. Mabe there is a reason they didn't draft there. Both Mack and Arden speak highly of them. The RB room is legit with a chance to sneak a guy or two onto the practice squad, just not Martinez who looked better this week. The TE room looks good. Saubert is making his presence known. The seconday looked real good at camp and this last week the starters looked good. I think Knight has been missed at LB. The line is the wildcard, already changing national opinion. How nice it is to have an NFL offensive scheme again like the big kids. There just seems to be much more continuity offensivly and less confusion. I have never seen so may defensive line holding penalties called two weeks in a row which speaks well of Seattle's offensive line. Seattle has some good options for back up PR. Ivey, Sherrif and O'Toole. One of the guys should make PS, just not Ivey. Next week will be interesting to see if the progression continues with the roster depth guys. QB room may be better than the national pudits have been saying. A few are back tracking on Darnold. To small of a smple size for me but he does look confident with this scheme as does Lock. I think Benton has made a world of difference for this O Line. ST seems to be our weak coaching link. Jay ain't John or Jim.

We're not perfect, if you get critical there's a few things that need to get cleaned up. I saw several no calls as holding was going on, both sides that likely will get called in the reg season. Kupp whiffed his first block attempt if he hits it Charbs might score on the first play. Abe Lucas got beat and he just held and quickly pushed and got away with it. Overall, looked awesome. I'm trying to keep my emotions in check but I'm starting to get that spidy sense tingle thing I started getting when our team started coming together in LOB era. I realize it's too early to start getting too excited, but it's hard not to appreciate the differences in our new team. Go Hawks!

When I heard we hired Klint Kubiak as our new offensive coordinator my first thought was "fine, we just go a Ford when we could have gotten a Ferrari". There was so much more out there.

It looks like I was wrong. Those Ford GT 40's manhandled the Ferraris at Le Mans and it looks like our Ford, Klint Kubiak, may turn out to be a G 40 , also.

Loved the offensive show. bring on crow.

Loved the Run Game and the O-line creating massive holes. I believe Hawks are totally mis-priced in betting lines @ over/under @ 8 games. I think they will challenge for Division.

McDonald and Kubiak have a good plan and Team is bought in.

Areas for improvement: Special Teams - Harbaugh is downgrade from Larry Izzo, Kate Scott is knowledgeable announcer, but her voice is “grating”. Milroe’s passing skills need work, but he is an incredibly dynamic athlete….hopefully they can get his throwing mechanics cleaned up.

I must have my rose-colored glasses on because I thought Milroe played well given he was charged with running out the clock. Two rollouts to the left and his passes did a great job of not leading his receivers out of bounds. He didn't force anything and the pass to the RB didn't actually seem that off. If I were to give him a grade I'd give him an "Incomplete" because he wasn't asked to make many plays.

He was a bit high and his completions were to open receivers, it's some pretty light criticism relatively speaking.

Other thing I didn't think was real good yet was his velocity, seemed he was zipping passes in there same speed no matter the situation or the route. You'd like to see some more variation and touch on occasion. But on the other hand I think of him as a 3-yr project so isn't really a surprise, glad to see him in there in an NFL context
