The Seattle Seahawks lost to the Dallas Cowboys 17-7 in their preseason opener on Saturday, gaining just 156 total yards and just 49 of those from passing. What’s been seen for weeks as an opportunity to showcase Jalen Milroe as nothing less than a weapon of run-pass destruction, instead Seahawks fans were the ones having their dreams obliterated.

It’s just one game, and not even one where the score matters, but has Milroe played himself out of a job instead of into the backup role? Although Drew Lock didn’t play much better, Seattle ended the first preseason game with more questions about the quarterback depth chart than answers.
