Well, there you go ~ JasonMeyers kicks a 53 yard field goal 'gainst Dallas.

Tyler Lockett is doing what he usually does.

I’d like to see 0 turnovers. 5 or fewer punts. 4 or fewer 3 and outs.

Maybe I’ll only see the 1st quarter.

I want to see cleaned up tackling. We Pete's message is received and implemented.

Yes to wanting to see D--those clips were a good reminder of the player he *could* be. It is easy to forget about guys when they disappear through injury for long stretches early on.

As for Fant, yeah I want to see him running routes/catching Lock's throws to see if he looks more "engaged"--could be he has a favorite in the competition.

It is very likely Melton and Young both make it to the PS when they get cut next week. Cade looks to have the inside track of those three.

I want to see Dee Eskridge get targeted 5 or 6 times. Mostly because if he can hall in 4 or 5 and go for 60 to 70 yards Eskridge and the team will feel good. There is no doubt Eskridge need to be a 60 catch guy with 600 plus plus yards. He was my favorite receiver I thought we could draft round 2 and he looked so good at the Sr bowl and college tape.

Noha Fant was available for trade because the guy playing just behind him, was good at half the cost. I am not going to loose my lunch over one play. Fant could have got hs second foot in with out any trouble. What this shows is poor concentration and he is lacking a little professionalism. I think Fant has been getting an earful over this and he will recover to show his real talent. He has 2 years to earn a big 2nd and maybe last contract, go earn it Noah.

Finally I am shocked that the Seahawks of all teams are struggling at Linebacker. The Seahawks are the last team I can remember using 3 full time linebackers. Now we have one excellent up and Comer and another good journeyman and that is it. Let's hope we pick off two good ones from the waiver wire, because we don't want to loose draft picks and we need to keep every good player we have. Maybe Freddy Swain could get us another good journeyman

Who's the good journeyman? Asking for a friend.

Weak RB room? This is the strongest RB group since Lynch was a part of it. Walker will be a stud and both Deejay and Homer look like they have improved as well. The O will go as far as the rookie-dominated O-line takes it, which might be farther than most people think.

Hey Gunny, have you been on this site long? Maybe read the articles on Walker. He has a minor hernia issue and if not ready for week 1 will be there shortly thereafter.

You acknowledge Homer but DeeJay has also looked good in preseason, and he was likely under-utilized last year.

What we DON"T know is how well the rookies on the O-line will hold up (my comment above). But there is no doubt we have quality in the RB room, to say otherwise is to ignore the facts.

I don't think it's fair to call our RBs a weakness or a strength at this point. The vast majority of Seahawks fans would agree that it's one of the most promising position groups we have this year. Gunny makes a good point, however, that none of them have proven enough yet in the NFL to be sure of what we've got.

But they're gonna be good... really really good :)
