I don't keep track of this sort of thing the way a lot of us do, so humor me: What edge rushers, what cornerbacks, what wide receivers, what OL guys are still out there that might slip down to 2.64?
After calling all the mock draft "experts" idiots for thinking the Seahawks would draft a RB, I guess I should keep my day job.
I really thought they would trade out, or take a CB or Edge, but I was almost positive they wouldn't take a RB. And when Boston was still available, and McCoy and McNeil-Warren were still available, I was sure it would be one of them. JS still does his own thing, and I trust him, so I am good with the pick even if I thought it would be a different outcome.
So much crazy maneuvering near the end of the round. I would love to have seen JS for the 15 minutes or so before our pick. I bet phone traffic was nuts. Definitely didn't expect a running back. We must really like the team as it exists right now.

Historically, Price is the fourth RB drafted by the Seahawks in the first round:
1983 Curt Warner (#3)
2000 Shaun Alexander (#19)
2018 Rashaad Penny (#27)
Really?
Man, I was hoping that wasn't the pick. I'm sure he'll be good, but a 1st round running back has to be elite.
Ho hum pick from a ho hum draft.
A RB. JS you sly dog.
Price was slated to go early. BPA.
But I’d be happy enough if SSJ is right again and we take Bisontis.
Me? Gimme Howell :)
Getting close! Based on who is left, what do you hope the Hawks do? Pick, or trade down?
Looks like O-line + Edge + others mostly falling as expected.
Big reach is Rams getting Ty Simpson @ 13.
That is good for Hawks as he won’t contribute anything in 2026, and maybe nothing more than career backup long term.
A few other reaches/ surprises: Sadiq to Jets, Miller to Lions, Banks to Vikes.
This all sets Hawks up for a good pick/trade down then pick at 32.
I like where we sit!!
Sadiq to the Jets is why the Jets are the Jets,!!
Chat won't load in the app
Glad the 1st pick is over and no more noise about Mendoza being so great. They can sing those praises after he starts in the NFL.
He’s Kirk Cousins. But how many cracks do you get at even that?
Not sure if this is the chat, but if it is, do you REALLY think JS has told us what he’s going to do tonight?
Nah. Mis-direction, if anything.
