So.....was Houston going for it on 4th and 2 from the Cowboys' 3 yd line, with <3 mins to go, up 23-20 "analytics"? For me, getting more than a field goal lead changes everything for the other guy. Stupid-ass call as far as I'm concerned, unless somehow I'm missing the "analytics"

Replying to myself on this one: yeah Lovie it's one thing to be down 27-26 with 0:41 on the clock, instead of down 27-23 with 0:41 on the clock. That call rivals Pete's in Super Bowl XLIX (other than of course the magnitude of the stage). Goddam, coulda had Houston with 2 wins...

Man...so far this week is going GREAT as far as draft position goes -- several of the teams who could threaten Denver at #3 are winning... and if Houston can win as well, OMG not that far from #1 overall!!

This comment is about the difference between Travon Walker at #1 overall and Boye Mafe at #40. PFF has Walker at 57.9 and Boye at 59.7. Walker has 26 tackles, 12 solo and 3 sacks vs Boye 19/8/2 but in 665 snaps vs Boye’s 299. In theory on another 366 snaps Boye could pick up 7 more tackles, 4 more solos and 1 more sack and have the same stats as the #1 guy. Is this a) an indictment on Walker; b) that Mafe is a hidden gem; or c) beware of betting the farm on “raw but lots of upside” guys e.g. Levis, Richardson, etc.

Or, is it just too soon to make any judgments whatsoever.

Honestly the Rams win was a great outcome for Seattle. Means the Rams pick after Denver (Seattle’s pick!) and also means a false sense of confidence in Mayfield. 😂

Don't know where all my comments went, but they're out there somewhere, huh? Tally ho. Maybe I'll watch the Hawks live this w/e and send them all the vibes that I've stored up after not watching them live all season. I get too anxious watching and prefer to watch after I know they've won. I'm so glad I didn't have to watch the Atlanta and Raiders game. I did watch the Bucs game knowing they lost just to see all the lowlights in context. I hate to say it, but this week's game is the absolute pinnacle of typical Seahawk trap behavior. Somebody has to say it. I want to be wrong. This is the kind of game we always find a way to lose. Jeez, I'm talking myself out of watching it. Somebody's Mom is gonna get called off the street to play QB and throw 4 tds. Well, at least it won't be because Russ is doing his curlicue minus seventeen yard fetal position sack. Okay. Good vibes!

RE Commanders. I don't care if they're any good. I hate them.

Vikings will get in sooner rather than later. After waiting in line all these years, it's finally their turn. It is kinda fun to see the wheels come off in Green Bay.

Fearless predictions:

Team most likely to lose its first playoff game: Minnesota Vikings.

Team most likely to surprise in the playoffs: Miami

The 49ers remind me of the Edmonton Oilers in hockey. For years Edmonton was just so bad--they accumulated a raft of high draft picks then they were good, but they have largely been unsuccessful in the playoff due to: no elite goaltending. The 49ers, even with all the talent they have, will not be a SB contender with Jimmy G, and now they have sacrificed most of their 23 draft capital for CM.

Haven't seen Josh Allen, I don't think, this year. But given his performance last year, I think the Bills have gotten fantastic performance from him. He's returned their initial draft investment. Bills need to suck it up and take care of him physically.

Big Tests ahead with KC and SF. I really hope the Hawks won't get bullied too hard and find some life on D again. Otherwise we won't have much TOP against SF and Mahomes will light Up our defense.

Maybe they can win against LA and CAR before.

good question. He is the QB everyone is trying to compare Levis to. I think Josh has elite talent and that over the last two years he has grown in his accuracy. I do think that his recent slump is both on him and defensive coordinators identifying his weaknesses on film from the last 12 months

The Washington Moons. Heh heh. Makes me think of my elementary school classmate who would run around mooning kids. And also Warren Moon. Doesn’t matter, I think a random collection of letters would be a better name than Commanders.

Speaking of NFL conspiracies, it seems kind of obvious that Vegas Knew about Donald's injury before it went public. Doesn't that seem a little more than weird and certainly not OK? I pose this question to you, Kenneth, because of your other affiliation.
