I can not believe Seattle made this trade to select a quarterback in the first round. The most obvious reason, if there was one worth taking he would be gone. Somehow I think we need to wait for the other shoe to fall. I would be fine with Marcus Mariota as a bridge or maybe more than that. I really want to see DeShawn Watson. The problem with thinking a 2023 QB is the Seahawks could still have a good season, and Pete Carroll is gooing to try and make it so. With the right free agents, a pretty good draft they could be in with a shout. I would like to say, Russell Wilson was a thrilling quarterback who made you always feel like he could dig the team out of a hole and win; something he did more than anybody of his or maybe any generation.
