Seahawks dream draft board: The ideal first 17 picks
What Seahawks fans should be rooting for on the first day of the draft
The Seattle Seahawks could have a top-10 prospect fall in their laps at 18, just as they had Byron Murphy II drop them at 16 last year. After running through the following scenarios for the first 17 picks, it was easier to picture why somebody like Will Campbell, Armand Membou, Jalon Walker, Will Johnson, or Tetairoa McMillan could still be available when the Seahawks are on the clock.

Which prospects should Seahawks fans be hoping get drafted ahead of Seattle’s pick?
Which prospects should fans be crossing their fingers to fall to 18?
At what point does the board compel the Seahawks to trade up a few spots?
At what point are there still so many good players available that the Seahawks decide to trade down?
This is a rundown of the prospects who you don’t want for the Seahawks, why they could all be drafted ahead of Seattle (there’s a mock draft for the first 17 picks and a rundown of the available big board players), and what John Schneider should do if this happens.
By the end, I learned that top-ranked edge and tackle prospects could fall to 18, that players like Grey Zabel and Donovan Ezeiruaku would be even bigger reaches than you might suspect, the Seahawks might still get a player they covet if they trade out of the first entirely.
