Not sure how 92 of 208 is "almost all" when "almost half" is far more accurate.

I know this is a conspiracy theory here, but I think Jamal left the team yesterday at the stadium after Pete told him he was benched. We are hearing injury news from Pete, but I personally think this is Pete saving Yikes! pride. He got benched. If he came to the stadium expecting to play and then left before the game, it seems like, to me, Yikes! is done as a Seahawk and I'm thinking Pete will just tell us that they are trying to get him back on the field but that will not be the case, I'm betting

The O-line played exceptionally better in the second half and was probably the reason Seattle ultimately won ( Overall). Yes big plays in the waning moments but allot of consistency (finally) with the O-line! On Defense, we now have had three weeks in a row where the announcers are questioning what Seattle is doing with their Defense in the middle of the field! It is embarrassing! That is the number one fix that is needed on this team! BUT HEY- Great Win !

I only am able to get to about 1 to 2 games a year these days. As luck would have it, that was the game I was able to go. It was amazing to be in the stadium and see these guys in person. Very much a battle and really a game that didn't look like we were going to win it at any point other than the very end.

Pure elation in the stadium after the catch. Very lucky to be there, that's what it is all about.

Plenty of analysis can and will be done this week. But for now ... just what a game saving, season saving drive! The fireman (Lock) to the rescue!

Go Hawks

Lock was alright. He was great on the final drive (with a lot of help from DK). What I think I saw was a lot of inaccurate throws and no real pre-snap decision making. Maybe Pete and Shane didn't want him making pre-snap changes, or maybe he doesn't diagnose well, or maybe I didn't see correctly. I've never been a big Geno supporter, but I do think he is the better overall QB, based on what we've seen the last two weeks. I'm not surprised that Pete didn't hesitate to name Geno the starter when asked in his press conference. I know there will be a lot of talk this week about that decision, but I think it's the correct one.

Great game for Love because of those big interceptions, but just alight otherwise. I know he is the hero of the defense this week, but it seemed like his underneath coverage was a bit soft and tackling was so-so. I feel like we have five or six free safeties on the roster but Adams is the only true SS and we all feel how we feel about him at this point. Our LBs aren't great in coverage, and our Safeties aren't great defending the run. I'm no expert, but that sounds like a job for a strong safety.

Seattle seemed to play with some real urgency as the game went on. Williams should have his signing hand ready to go. I like our options better with Adams off the field and Mike Jackson at RCB. Jackson is just better against the run and is fine in coverage. Artie Burns quietly played well. Coby Bryant had 52% snaps at Safety and Okada had 30%. I can live with these guys over Woolen and Adams. It will be interesting to see how Seattle moves forward with this. Lock has now had two starts against top notch teams and frankly I like what I see. He didn't even know he was a go until the game started. Next year Seattle might be wise to draft a QB in the 1st round and give Lock a shot at competeing for the starting role. The cap cleaning must begin to resign what's working. Jones needs a contract restructure next year. He isn't living up to his price.

Nice to have Lucas back. Bradford is getting much needed experience for the upcoming weeks. Does anyone else wonder what the 49ers game might have looked like defensively with this group (add Spoon)?

Seattle still has ta long road in front of them but they sure have a great opportunity to make the playoffs and with momentum going into it. The Vikings face Detroit twice in the next 3 weeks and GB in between. That's Seattle opportunity. NO plays the Rams and Tampa both road games.

The game that worries me the most is the Arizona game. They looked pretty good against SF for the first half and would love to ruin Seattle's party.

Seattle has a great opportunity to not only make the playoffs, but to find some fixes defensively and improvment on the line and running game. The LB weakness is going to have to be addressed with safety play. Sure wish Hall could get some more snaps.

Thank you Seattle for Monday night! Christmas came early.

Did anybody make the stadium last night? What was the mood of the 12's? Was it yawn/stretch, hell yeah or boo mode quarter by quarter? KJ has commented on how inspiring fans can be. Or not. I'm concerned that Bobby may be thinking retirement when in fact he's just had a first-ever slump.

DK's face cover contributed something. If nothing else but a mental crutch, fine. But, keep wearing it, DK.

Bradford, as previously noted by SSJ, is a good run blocker. Yeah, he gave up the sack (missed call of high hit to tye QB?), but overall was good.

Lucas was back. I didn't rewatch so IDK how mamy plays, but we play better when he is there. Same is becoming true with Bradford.

Our CBs well. Artie Burns had a great game. Of course Love, and Big Cat, did too.

As noted by Aikman on the 1st drive. Wagz isn't picking up or shading towards a man in his zone coverage area, at all. Just anchors the zone. He can fix that. I did see us drop a safety into the box a few times in 2nd half and that clogged up the middle more on D.

Pete was responsible for the one timeout. Drew, the other. We dodged that bullet, and I think Pete's was justified. 4th and 2, with the clock running close and our offense was not all together. If not for the challenge it would have been a timeout that could have saved the last chance we may have had deep in their territory to get a needed TD. Just because something doesn't produced the desired result doesn't mean it was the wrong decision.

Things we learned

1. Love is better than Adams.

2. We must run the ball

3. We still have a huge soft spot ( for years actually) over the linebackers

Pete Carrol is a conservative coach.Drew Lock is at heart a gunslinger,, A match NOT made

In heaven, The shackles came off only when they had to, at the end of the game, I kept thinking, if only Pete was offensive minded, and Drew had been given the Opportunity to play all year ,

Alas, it is not to be As it sounds like Pete is going back to safe, secure and in my opinion, not so great Geno Smith. Oh well, I wanted a pony when I was six ,never got that either.

Silly as it sounds that was the best win of the season for me! I like the mood that Lock creates. It doesn’t feel hopeless when we’re behind and his excitement after last night’s win was contagious!

When the Hawks play a night game I always try to not get spoiled and watch the highlights at morning (they start at 2am here).

This morning I got a message 'I was hoping the sea birds would defeat the eagles' and instantly thought damn so they lost.

I love it.

From just seeing the highlights:

Love > Adams

K9 has awesome Burst

Oline looks good

We just can't stop Qbs running

Our short/middle Pass Defense is weird to watch

Any given Sunday, and all that jazz...

F*cking pay Leonard Williams now! His value to the team only continues to rise and we cannot risk not having him walk away. Lock was indeed fine, although I like the fizz he can put on a ball to a tight window - and check out his block on the KW3 TD, not major but I love anytime a QB gets stuck into a game for the team. Can't figure out why we were able to win this one, might be more to do with the Eagles going through their rough patch, but Hurtts Defensive scheme did seem to be getting results. Waldrons offence however was not good overall, and was definitely bailed out by a sub-par DC-less Eagles opposition.

I'm happy, a win is always good. I'm apprenhensive Pete can use this to continue his argument this team is close when it still clearly isn't. I'm sad this means the 49ers really look like the best NFC team, and f*ck the 49ers. But far more happy than anything, we won, we're finally seeing the end of Adams, and I can't wait to eat Levis alive at the weekend (if he's healthy) and be on a 2-0 streak at Christmas.

Go Hawks. Nice football. The defense was hitting and tackling better, and we won a game without our star CB and using M. Jackson at RCB. Tre Brown was back to playing like the best LCB we have had since Richard Sherman. Rotating Woolen in and out will keep him humble and focused on improving his tackling and run defense (hopefully).

Drew played under control and was a bit more accurate. Clutch drive to win the game. That is great, but he seems slightly better at some stuff, but Geno is better at other stuff. Given time to throw, Geno is more accurate. They both have a future as starters in this league, but I'm not sure if either of them will be on the team next year.

Adams is probably gonna go on IR or get cut. Did anyone else notice Okada was playing some?

I picked the Seahawks on my weekly ESPN Pig Skin Pickum thing. 11-5 for the week, not too bad.

Only ever borrow money from a pessimist. They never really expect to be paid back.

Speaking of pessimism...two not-very-good-lately defenses, neither of which was dominated by the opposing offense. Which doesn't say much for how long either team is likely to last in post-season play. If it were not for a catastrophically weak NFC, we wouldn't even be talking about it.

But at least it was a competitive game, and neither team gave up trying. Entertainment-wise, it was worth watching right up to the very end (which I did).
