Seahawks extension candidates: Uchenna Nwosu, Jordyn Brooks headline options
Yes or no to these players entering a contract year? 3/29/2023 SEASIDE BONUS
The adage that “You gotta spend money to make money” is typically used in business, but I have another meaning for it in my life. At a certain point I started to feel like there was literal truth in that: If I spent more money, the “universe” or “a capitalistic secret society that is tracking everybody’s spending” would literally give me more money to spend.
It makes sense to me: Hoarding money doesn’t help anyone. Spending money is fun and it keeps the stuff circulating.
Everybody wins!
(If this is a controversial political statement or something, please excuse me, I know nothing of politics and they aren’t allowed here!)
Perhaps Pete Carroll also came to this realization lately. The Seattle Seahawks are actually spending money in free agency for the first time and that’s led to acquisitions like Dre’Mont Jones, Julian Love, and a reunion with Bobby Wagner. A reunion that requires more cap space, which could be created by an extension or two.
In this bonus post, I go over six extension candidates and let you know which ones I think will happen, which I don’t expect, and what I would do.
