Maybe this should be a comment on Baker instead of Dodson, but there's something about that number zero in the middle of the field. I could see Dodson taking a huge career leap this year. I think whoever can stay on the field and be available at ILB for this defense is going to stand out. Maybe it's both guys.
I like how they get the folks at Tennessee to sit in different sections based on their colour--very effective lol.
The guy I am rooting for to be a new fan fav is Laviska--with just the three RBs he may get some touches. The block he laid to spring Kenny Mac for his long TD was exceptional also. Keep that up and he will be a fan fav for sure.
Interesting that. He’s been in the league for several years but just did not do well at receiver. But seems to have found a well needed comparable spot. Love guys who block. Sounds as if Mac and coaches do as well.
Laviska's Dad was right: A Father should want his Sons to learn American Football. To play by its' rules. He did this by showing them his own Passion for the Game. Not a day goes by that I pray the Allen Family and John Schneider bring out a way to make this team a place to Belong. We all want it. Indeed, we all NEED it. Pete went a long way to instilling this. I think the easy process we saw when both Tyler and Geno adjusted their contracts to accommodate what JS is trying to do, speaks well to the growth of these ideas. There are promises and amenities which, over time, can make small what your gross net pay is this year. My hope is every Player/Coach we have wants to retire among us. I had hopes we'd see Coach Pete move down the street to UDub and further such planning, but alas, he's back in LA. Ratz.
Just last night I watched a Rayshawn Jenkins highlight clip, and it was attention grabbing. Now I know that's what highlights ARE, but it was still awesome to watch. Also watched a mic'd up clip of him, and he is ALWAYS talking, communicating with teammates and encouraging them. I'l be watching him this season, and I expect good things.
I have met Ricardo Lockette, and his grandfather is a judge here in Albaby, GA, and my wife works with him. Great, great family, and Ricardo is an awesome person.
As soon as I saw this piece, I assumed it had to be a They Might Be Giants reference, so thanks for getting me to go back and put on Flood to find the deeper meaning.
I think a lot of gans, like me, pull for the underdog. With that in mind, I gott go with Derrick Hall and K'von Wallace. I know my personal fan favorite will be the OL if they can keep Geno cool.
D-Hall all day long for me! Of course, he's already that without having done much on the field, but after this year I hope many thousands are joining me in D-Hall fandom.

Man I hope ILB play is better. Love BWagz to death but need plays at or behind LOS.

HooYeah. Loved that interview...
I’m with you there.

Derick Hall prob doesn’t qualify bc he was here last year, but what if he explodes this year?
And there is another guy who didn’t play at all last year that has potential to flash in this D: Mike Morris.
It’s crazy how big that dude is - you can spot him instantly on the field.
I think Kenny Mac is gonna be sneaky good!
I think he'd be a 3rd down back on alot of teams
He has the ‘chip on the shoulder’ attitude as well.
I rate him. As I keep saying, he’s shown more than Charbs at this stage.

Shenault definitely strikes me as a guy who can make timely plays and could quickly become a fan favourite á la Rocket Lockette.
On defense I think Knight is just scratching the surface. He had multiple stops on screens! Screens! We've been waiting for that linebacker for years!

How cool!

“I could shake my tiny fist
And swear I wasn't wrong
But what's the sense in arguing
When you're all alone?”
Kinda jumped out at me.

Yes, The O-line!
If they are close to competent, they will be a fan fav for sure.
At least for the informed fans! The uninformed fan will just see skill players and fantasy darlings

Laviska, Wallace, Hall, Jenkins all look good to me. Would like to see Hankins rev it up....he could be helpful.
