I posted a last-hour survey for Seahawks fans this morning and the results are in… you can still vote and we can use the results as a way to reflect back on the moments before whatever happens tonight happens. What do you want to happen?
Oregon pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux.
TONIGHT STARTING AT 5:15 PT I WILL BE LIVE STREAMING THE FIRST ROUND OF THE DRAFT-IF YOU WANT TO WATCH AND SHARE THE EXPERIENCE WITH ME GO HERE AT 5:15!
With the first 91 votes in, 37.4% of you voted for Thibodeaux out of this particular group, followed by Sauce Gardner, Jordan Davis, and Evan Neal. Of course, Jordan Davis is the guy who I’ve picked as Seattle’s most-likely selection and for the last 24 hours I’ve become obsessed with the idea of Davis being added to the front-seven.
Teams would have to re-think first down against the Seahawks next season and perhaps the result is a lot more 2nd-and-10 and third-and-long situations for opponents.
I think Thibodeaux, Gardner, and Neal will be gone by nine but there are no guarantees. I’ve seen last-minute mocks with Aidan Hutchinson falling out of the top-four.
Thibodeaux ranks as #1 defensive lineman, Neal as top OL:
I think I may have influenced the Davis vote a little bit. Good!
Neal was followed by Ickey Ekwonu for offensive linemen, followed by Tyler Linderbaum and Bernhard Raimann. I think that Linderbaum and Raimann could be available on day two. So if the Seahawks get their defensive player on day one, they could still get one of their top-rated OL on day two.
Sauce Gardner dominates secondary, Davis dominates his teammate:
Think that’s self-explanatory.
Jermaine Johnson> > > Charles Cross
Dominating victory for a pass rusher over an offensive tackle. Everyone is talking about Johnson going in the top-five though. However, Neal dominated both Johnson and Derek Stingley, Jr. in his poll.
You’ll be SICK if the Seahawks draft a QB at 9
But you’ll be SICKER if they trade two second rounders for a QB

Want a QB? Apparently not! In fact, I haven’t heard of any fanbase who wants their team to draft a QB this year. But Desmond Ridder has the most fans in Seattle.
It’s extremely split though: 30% for Ridder, 19% for Sam Howell (our guy here at Seaside Joe, if it’s anyone), 17% for Matt Corral, 10% for Kenny Pickett, and then Malik Willis barely edged out Carson Strong and any other QB. Perhaps this is influenced by the fact that Willis has been mocked so often to the Seahawks… though that hype really died down a couple weeks ago.
In the survey, 89% of you voted that you don’t think the Seahawks actually want a QB in the first round this year, that it’s all noise. You weren’t so sure on Derek Stingley:
And most of you think that you’ll be at least a little happy when Thursday is over.
As for who the pick would be? 20 of you voted for Jordan Davis, 14 of you for Trevor Penning, eight for Thibodeaux. Final thoughts?

Well then, Charles Cross😊 I didn't expect this, but terrific pick imho
I imagine when it's all said and done, the Seahawks will draft a bunch of random players I've never heard of so I can start looking at them all over. I'm beginning to think that there's a secret menu of draft players known only to "special" people.🤷♂️
