The Seattle Seahawks have announced their final cuts and you can get them e-mail to you immediately upon the news dropping because you’re subscribed to Seaside Joe. If you’re not subscribed, get on that:
Seaside Joe never e-mails out game spoilers in the headlines or preview section, so don’t worry about that occurring this season.
The biggest surprises, maybe, are that John Reid and Joey Blount made the final roster, as did Penny Hart and Dareke Young. The team released Justin Coleman and Marquise Blair. Seattle is also keeping undrafted free agent Josh Onujiogu, someone I wrote about before the draft.
Here is the Seahawks final 53-man roster, with changes to come immediately probably (and check back at seasidejoe.com if there are any updates), but this is the initial announcement:

The muffed punt notwithstanding, I thought Cade Johnson was one of our better wideouts during the preseason; I'd have given him Young's spot on the roster.
I'm guessing Collier only made the initial roster so they can move him to IR tomorrow afternoon. Will be interesting to see what other moves they make before Week 1.
Very happy the kept Young. I think he has some upside with his size/speed combo.
Thought Vi Jones might have a chance. I think they're looking over LB cuts across the league to bring in veteran guys to go with Brooks.
It's a surprising Seahawk year when I'm okay with both offensive and defensive lines.
I hope they use Alton Robinson more than they have in the past. He just seems to pesky in the other's team's backfield to not give him a few more snaps. A nice rotation of Taylor and Nwosu, with Mafe and ARob sprinkled in to keep them all fresh. Minus experience, might be our most talented Edges in a while.
