In these two preseason games the only place I see them looking at is possibly back up LB's-

I guess it's just on the brain, but seeing O-Line and Walker in the comments along with these possible moves requires one response:

"You don't need his identification." "These are not the players you're looking for"

This is what triggered in my mind (1min):

Don't think this is directly related to players we should bring in, but indirectly another option is to give more snaps to rookies (although unfortunately none of the three mentioned in the article I'm attaching here, are guards/LB/DT).

It's just unusual for any media source to highlight 17 rookies to draft in the fantasy football later rounds, and have three of the 17 from one team -- way disproportionate to the average per team, which would be 0.53 per team. Especially when that team is Seattle, one of the most forgotten teams in the NFL, over decades.

Elijah Arroyo, Jalen Milroe, and Tory Horton all made this list.

They're on all the lists, btw. Not just one source or two. Part is because of all WR preseason hype like SSJ wrote about, but it's getting out there.

They're making it hard for me to separate my fandom when drafting this year! I can't have all 3 because we're going to run so much (btw, Martinez looked better last night - exhibit b, your honor) and it'll be hard to get everyone fantasy points. Pick 1? Just one?? Idk. Looking Milroe in my deep dynasty leagues that are set at QB for now.

But, yeah, how crazy is it that we have 3 notable offensive skill position rookies?! JS 👏👏

If the Seahawks are where I think they are, more of our discards will get picked up than we will pick up of others. It always bothers me when we grab a bunch of players at cutdowns, and almost none of our waiver players get picked up.

If there is an iLB upgrade available, I could see that. Grabbing a Bears castoff at center would be depressing. If a RG was available that they were excited about, I could see that too. Not to play right away necessarily, but someone they could bring along to step in if AB can't get his play to be consistently solid. Or at least, mostly solid.

There was an excellent article on FieldGulls by Mookie this morning. He talks about our record against good teams (awful) and how many of our wins are 1) very close and 2) against bad/average teams. It's a great point. To be what we want to be we need to 1) beat good teams and 2) hammer bad teams. Hopefully we'll see some of that this year.

Campbell wants his guys going all-out all the time. Pete seemed to like regulating intensity, maybe to minimize injury? Just do enough to win?

Why does it feel like this year has many more "bubble guys we want on the 53" than last year. I'd be surprised at more than 1 new face given the reviews of Jerrell/Ivey/Bohanna/Morris/Dareke/etc. A bunch of these guys may get picked up if not on our initial 53.

Our depth is really shining. Great problem to have. Would love to see some depth LBs jump off the film next

I can see the Seahawks picking up somebody at some point just because they usually seem to do something. I'm keeping an eye on O line to see if they are looking for any other options. I hope we can just stay in house and farm our own crops, but we'll see. Thanks again to Kenneth...hope you enjoyed your vacay.

I doubt we go that route unless one of the minor injuries to Olu or Knight are worse than expected. I think we have adequate depth at LB with O'Connel and Drake Thomas ready for starting duty, if not quite as good as Knight. If Olu went out for an extended stay on IR, that might make a trade much more likely. Nwosu may get replaced by a significant signing. Someone like Clowney more likely than someone like Parsons. Unless Ivey, Smith, or someone else elevates themselves from within our team. Smith was winning and so was Ivey. I think at least one of them makes the 53.

Very common for Seahawks to add players at final cuts, so I’ll be a little surprised if they don’t do something.

It looks like both Ivey and Bohanna will make the 53. I cannot imagine either of them getting past waivers. I know we all say that every year, but from I have seen, I'd regret losing either of them.

Now, Pili's making plays. MM's system is setting in real well.

Player I want most out of this list: DJ Reader. Player whose name sounds most out of a Key and Peele skit: Princely Umanmielen; honorable mention: Shy Tuttle (I picture a bald Keegan-Micheal Key saying his name high pitched and really quietly, not able to even keep eye contact with the camera).

I feel for the announcers sometimes. The Seahawks Nest podcast mentioned that they get a list of all the players saying their own names to memorize for games, but a 3rd stringer with the surname Umanmielen is probably going to stump one if he gets in a game and makes a play.

If JS and MM determine we have an unfillable hole in our O-Line, then why settle for anything but the best? Ken Walker would get us that Find. I hate saying this, as I dearly want to see him unlock his tremendous skills for our benefit, but to get a great player requires our opponent gains a great player. An untradeable for an untradeable. Adding to the difficulties, we would want that new player wanting to play here. Fit in with The Guys. See us as a true contender for Super Bowls. I'm sorry, K9, but having a sore foot is no reason to not practise. And why make interviews radioactive? Where have you been? Something feels Off in all this silence.

If other teams think highly of Walker, he may be a chip to play if needed. And yes, I agree, something feels off. Both MacDonald and Kubiak have gone out of their way to praise Zach, both the player and the man. Might be reading too much into it, but it does feel off to me.

If the starters all play a series or two tonight, and Walker doesn't.....

Zach brings a crucial work ethic that accepts no failures. His films will show him screwing up what Coaches are teaching, but he immediately "finds a way" to complete his assignment. His fellow rookies will see it and respond in kind. Perform an extra fierce Ooomf. React at the speed of lightning. It's a 'something' that can't be taught.

I do see how Walker gets you the best G or C in trade. Very wishful thinking and overrating Walker.

It's complete speculation. In fact, I hope I am wrong, as I love watching the guy work. I think, or rather speculate, that MM is trying his best to field a Super Bowl team with who we now have. That commitment will go a long way with the older players and bolster a crucial belief needed in serious team play. Keep it "in-House".
