Seahawks games at Seaside Joe
How to Join the Live Chat, the (no-spoiler headline) post-game comments during Seahawks games all season long
The Seattle Seahawks play the Los Angeles Chargers in their first preseason game of the year in about 10 minutes. For new readers, and longtime readers just the same, I want to explain what I do here at Seaside Joe during and after every Seahawks game. How you can talk about the game with your fellow Seasiders and what you can expect after the game.
I want to make it abundantly clear that the immediate post-game HEADLINE and SUB-HEADER and opening sentences will contain NO SPOILERS. After the first paragraph though, spoilers are back on. Subscribe to Seaside Joe to get every post-game reaction article:
During the game, we have a live chat for Regular Joes premium subscribers and Super Joes subscribers. Get the Substack app to join the chat, which I will start immediately after I send this email.
If you want to share any tips, tricks, or answer any questions for other Seasiders who might have issues figuring out the chat, I would definitely appreciate your input in the comments if there is a need for user troubleshooting. If there’s a user having trouble finding where to watch the game, you can put that in the comments too.
Bob's two takeways from 1st pre-season game: 1. Under the new kick off rules, the kickers are going to need bigger pads and tackling practise...or teach a DB how to kick, and 2. Avoid further embarrassing goal line stands by opponents...go with a "tush push" play with Byron Murphy III carrying and he will shove the rock up their *asterick* (he has played RB before right?).
I am noticing a dominant Murphy II in the first half. Good to witness a different team beyond Pete Carroll.
