I don’t dislike it, I don’t dislike it at all. But if you’re bringing a 10 year veteran, why not sign Kenneth Bernard Wright Jr?

I don't know Iloka very well, but I do question if savy is enough to stay with the tightends you listed. I am holding out hope that Donkar can make the team, because it would be great to have a German born and raised player, suiting up against the Bucs in Germany. In this case I am cheering for a great story. A player Seattle picked up for free, who has had the odds stacked against him. Victoria Chris

Sounds like the Seahawks could use George Iloka as a backup LB at a cheaper price

... one other thought for $10 million a season for two years I would rather have Bobby Wagner. Does anybody think Bobby would have signed here for the same money ? I feel he is happy to be playing with Rams and having a chance to win the Super Bowl

good article. He's an interesting look, especially how the Hawks value speed. His football IQ is giving him a chance, and he must have a huge work ethic that lets you stay at it after nearly 2 seasons off, and I'm sure the Hawks see that in their 2nd chance philosophy.

He's Wright's build so this says a lot about not bringing KJ back.

I really wanted a LB in the draft, and now it's in hindsight, I like the Walker pick much better than what was available there, and I also like not trading back in the 1st to get Lloyd (because I like Cross).

Actually, Harris' great interview indicated you need a heady LB to run the 3-4 and we don't really have that guy (Barton, maybe not) so this is a good tire-kick. Can't have kids everywhere on the field; gotta have veteran presence unless you're tanking, and that's not Carroll's DNA.
