*GASP* a typo! lol… no apologies ever required or comment unless they are unintentionally funny 😊.
The screen cap in the article says “practice in progress” so do we know that this is the final status for those not “out”? I will be a bit concerned if both Baker and Dodson are out. K9 being out would be the next biggest blow but Charbs/KMac are able replacements. I would be more worried about Fant being out if the second half had not happened last week. The OL will be ok.
Not needing to play hurt, much less injured, puts our Game back into the fun category. Same with player contracts that demand X Amount of touches every game. The guys are serious about doing what it takes to get a Win. It gives us a deeper bench and makes us a constant threat every week. Jack Youngblood was asked about retirement, saying when young by Monday his bruises, pulls and strains had quieted down but at 36, every day was painful during the season, making the decision a whole lot easier. He was an irreplaceable LB for the Rams. They never did find him a bench guy.
Not a great team to be starting backups on the line of scrimmage and linebackers against. If this injury report holds up through Sunday then the game will be a little too close for comfort.
Forsythe improved in the second half of the game. I think we get the TEs involved earlier and cover for the O-line. You can call up two people. I don't see George Holani getting the call-up. Dareke Young and Laviska Shenault can be emergency backs. Short passes can replace some of the run game. I think O'Connell will get the call, not sure whether OL will be second. They didn't have Laumea or Jerrell active last week. Laumea can also do RT in a pinch, so that makes 2 potential RT covers beyond Forsythe.
Last year, Waldron and the OL coach had some luck against weaker teams limiting Forsyth’s exposure. I’m not thrilled by him starting, but the coaches will come up with something for the near-term. Luckily, NE doesn’t have much of a pass rush outside of Keoin White.
I was reading all the predictions for the game from the different media outlets. Almost all of them predict a low scoring, defensive slugfest. Perhaps. But it kind of presumes the two offenses and the two defenses are comparable. I don't see anything resembling the Seahawks offense on the NE side. And I think we have the better talent on defense. We still might lose, but 28-12 Seahawks would not surprise me, if we don't try to give the game away again.
Didn't K9 have oblique issues last year too? Could this be something that he should have had surgery for? I understand Mike Mac not revealing anything he doesn't have to, but I'm getting the feeling that we played "wait and see" with him and Lucas when perhaps they could have just shut them down and hopefully gotten them right for the long haul.
- George Holani a probable call-up from the practice squad
- Apologies for a typo in the first paragraph. As is usually the case, it's a sentence I edited at the last second and didn't re-read properly.

Welp…at least the Pats have a similar number of injuries. Not that I want anyone injured but at least the field is a bit more level.
Thanks for the updates. May the 12s be with you and Go Seahawks!

Kenneth, Just wanted to let you know I love hanging out here at the Seaside. At times I hear the ocean roar. Thanks!
My initial reaction to a college FB highlight is that I’m watching slo-mo.
When the schedule came out, I considered the second week at thePatriots, the only real cakewalk game. Now I’m gonna be grateful if the Seahawks win.

I hope Curtis is either not used or has somehow become a lot better since preseason. He was getting destroyed by 2nd-teamers
